Greetings everyone from Nagano-city!
長野市の皆さん、こんにちは！
It’s been another exciting week for our nursery class here at the international school of Nagano (ISN)! This was a week of a lot of first-time experiences for our brave 2-year old class at the school.
インターナショナルスクール オブ 長野（ISN）の２歳児～３歳児のレインボークラスの子どもたちは、今週たくさんの新しいことにチャレンジしました。
We took our very first trip to the park together. All the nursery class children were able to listen to their teachers and walk to the park nicely together. They enjoyed the playground at the park, and everyone had a great time!
今週は初めて、公園まで遊びに行きました。どのお友達も先生とのお約束を守りながら、しっかり交通ルールを意識し、３歳児、４歳児のお友達の後に続き、公園まで歩くことができました。
ぽかぽか陽気に包まれて、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。
We also had our very first gym class and music class this week.
In gym class they had fun moving and stretching their bodies.
初めての体操、リトミックもありました。初めて会う先生方に緊張で固まってしまう未満児さんたちでしたが、時間が経つにつれて徐々にいつもの笑顔が戻り、終わるころには、はじける笑顔が見られました♪
In music class they walked in rhythm to the music and had to stand still when the music stopped. Everyone did a great job!
リトミックでは、みんな集中して先生のピアノの音に耳を傾けながら、リズムに乗って歩いたり、止まったり…
先生に「上手にできたね！」と褒めてもらい、とても誇らしそうにしていました。
The weather has been nice and warm lately, so we have enjoyed playing outside in the school’s playground.
今週は晴天に恵まれ暖かな日が多かったので、３歳児、４歳児のお友達と一緒に、スクールの園庭でたくさん外遊びを楽しみました♪
The children did a great job at coloring during class!
みんなでクレヨンで色塗りもしました。思い思いに自分の好きな色を使い、とびっきりカラフルに仕上げていました。
We have continued to practice our English conversation skills by saying “help me please” when they need help, and “thank you” when they receive it. We also practice the alphabet, numbers and colors every day.
手助けが必要なときは、英語で「Help me, please.」、ありがとうは「Thank you.」などの、日常で使う英会話の練習の成果がすでに現れてきている未満児クラスのレインボー！目覚ましい成長を感じた１週間になりました。
ABC…や、数字、また、英語で色の名前を言う練習も始めました。
家族が恋しくなり泣いてしまうお友達もいますが、今週もみんなとってもとっても頑張りました。
