Hello everyone!
This week, we have enjoyed returning to a more regular schedule after the Christmas show. We continued our phonics, finished our UOI, and spent a lot of time playing outside in the nice, cool weather.
Park
We had a ton of fun playing at the park with all of our friends from the other classes. It’s amazing seeing how well the kids are able to play with their younger and older friends.
Scissors
We talked about how to safely use scissors before practicing cutting straight lines. We used our new cutting skills to make nice Christmas crafts the next day.
Happy birthday!
We had a fun birthday party for our friends who were born in December. One of them stood bravely in front of the class with the other birthday friends as the teacher asked some simple questions. We also invited our friends who were born in November to come up at the beginning of the party so we could sing them happy birthday.
