Hello everyone!
We had another fun week singing Halloween songs, learning about countries, playing at the park, and having a fun swimming lesson.
こんにちは、皆さん！
私たちはハロウィーンの歌を歌ったり、国について学んだり、公園で遊んだり、楽しい水泳の授業をしたりして、また楽しい一週間を過ごしました。
Swimming lesson
Kids are always excited about going to our swimming lessons. They enjoyed the different activities in the water. During one of the activities, the children were challenged to submerge their heads underwater. It was great to see everyone giving their best efforts!
子供たちは水泳の授業に行くのをいつも楽しみにしています。 彼らは水中でのさまざまなアクティビティを楽しみました。 活動の 1 つで、子供たちは頭を水中に沈めるという課題に挑戦しました。 みんなが全力で頑張っている姿がとても素敵でした！
Park
The weather was nice and sunny as we played in the park. The kids started digging for rocks in the dirt using sticks. They were on an adventure looking for treasure!
私たちが公園で遊んだとき、天気は良く晴れていました。 子どもたちは棒を使って土の中の石を掘り始めました。 彼らは宝を求めて冒険をしていたのです！
UOI3 – Where do we live?
We moved on from learning about planets and on to learning about countries! It was so interesting seeing our students as we took a look at some of the different countries and their cultures. Of course, being from Norway, I taught the kids about Norway Constitution Day. We watched a video of the children’s parade as they walked past and waved to the Norwegian royal family.
We also colored a world map and circled Japan. Our curious students are begging to get a feel for how big our world is.
私たちは惑星についての学習から、国についての学習に移りました。 さまざまな国やその文化を観察しながら、生徒たちを見るのはとても興味深いものでした。 もちろん、ノルウェー出身の私は子供たちにノルウェー憲法記念日について教えました。私たちは子供たちがノルウェー王室を通り過ぎて手を振りながらパレードするビデオを見ました。
世界地図に色を塗ったり、日本を一周したりもしました。 好奇心旺盛な生徒たちは、私たちの世界がどれほど広いかを感じようとしています。
