Nagano Rainbow ~ A Family Tree!( February 13th-16th)

Good day, everyone!!

Here we are in our fun, fun week. This week, we have enjoyed playing outside and visiting the park in excellent weather.

Monthly theme

In our monthly theme, we talked about family and who are among the family members. We introduced our family to our friends by showing them the pictures. This week, we met our teacher’s family members. A family is a group of two or more persons related to birth, marriage, or adoption who live together; all such related persons are considered members of the family. We have two types of family, the nuclear family and extended family. Nuclear family is a family unit consisting of two adults and any number of children living together. Extended family are grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, either all living nearby or within the same household.

Park/Outside play

It is always more fun playing in the park for us Rainbow! if we have excellent weather in the morning, we were always excited and eager to move our body in the sun. Chasing the teachers is one of our favorite things to do! After the music lesson, we were able to have fun in the playground with other class friends as well.

Music lesson

This week, in our music lesson, with the song Ten Little Indians that the teacher played on the piano, we clapped our hands once in front and tapped our knees thrice. We liked the beat of the song and had fun tapping and clapping! But before the song played, we practiced by clapping our hands to the beat of Tong, Pa! (When we say tong, we clap our hands, and when we say pa, we open our hands widely.)

Here is another song that we are singing this month. Sing it with your kids!

Thank you for visiting our blog, and see you again next week! Have a Beautiful weekend!
