This week we have learned about the transformation of transportations during the UOI. We first learned about the various kinds of past transportations through a video, and we discussed evolution and the pros and cons of each of them. The transportation begins with walking, to using animals, inventing wheels, to steam engine and eventually using the electricity. We also learned about the sounds of each transportation for extra knowledge through our kids’ inquiry. For upcoming March, we will be working and preparing for a project for transportation, let’s be excited about it!
みなさん、こんにちは。今週もオーロラのブログへようこそ🤩UOIレッスンでは、引き続き私たちは、LOI2の「今と昔の乗り物」についての探究をしています。今週のレッスンでは、乗り物の変化について学びました。 まずは映像を見ながら過去のさまざまな乗り物を知り、それぞれの進化やメリット・デメリットについて話し合いました。 移動は、歩くことから始まり、動物を使い、車輪を発明し、蒸気機関を発明し、最終的には電気を使用します。 また、子供たちの調査を通じて、各交通機関の音についても学びました。 来月に向けて、私たちは乗り物のためのプロジェクトに取り組み、準備を進めます🚌🚙✈🚢ワクワクしましょう🤩✨
We also learned the capital and lowercase letters through exciting games this week! We witnessed our kids are getting better in identifying the letters. Well Done!
今週のフォニックスでも、A-Zまでのフラッシュカードを使い、しっかりフォニックスの音を声に出しながらリズムよく復唱していきます♪ミニクイズを出しながら、子どもたちがどれほど小文字の認識が出来ているかを確認します。また、楽しいカルタゲームを通して、大文字と小文字のマッチングに挑戦しました。 私たちは、子供たちが文字を識別するのが上手になっているのを目の当たりにしました！！素晴らしい！さまざまなアクティビティを通して、楽しくそして、しっかり定着していけるようにします。

Since it will be the week of Hinamatsuri this coming week, we also did some craft on making the emperor and empress’s kimono. We dipped the kimono craft into watercolors, and it turned out great! We will be working on the rest of the craft next week. Stay tuned!
今週は、ひな祭り工作を行いました。子どもたちに3月３日のひな祭りの紹介をすると…「知ってる！」「おうちにある！」また、「うれしい ひなまつり」の歌の紹介をすると…🎎「聞いたことある✨」とみんな興味深く聞いてくれました。そして、ひな祭り工作のファーストステップとして、今週はお内裏様とお雛様🎎の着物の染めをしてみました。水で溶かした絵の具に子どもたちは、小さく折りたたんだコーヒーフィルターを浸していきます。みんな色水に浸した後に、紙を開くと、とてもきれいでさまざまな模様に「わぁ✨」と感動していました。しっかり乾いた染めた紙を使って、来週はひな祭り工作を完成させます。 乞うご期待！
