Hello everyone!
It’s getting towards the end of the school year now, and things are getting more exciting!
Writing practice
In order to prepare for Aurora, we have started tracing lines. We started the lesson by talking about the correct way to hold a pencil. The teachers helped each student with their grip. I was very impressed by how nicely most of our wonderful students were already able to hold it!
We also talked about how difficult they thought it were. Some students said it was difficult, while others said it was easy. It is very important to let the students know that it’s ok if its difficult. It’s ok if you can’t do it well right now. As long as we try our best, and keep trying, it will get easier over time.
I will link a few of the worksheets for you to do at home. Writing and reading only gets easier with practice and repetition. So, please try some together at home too if you have the time!
Gym lesson
We had another gym lesson full of energy and fun! We did several activities on the mat and finished with everybody’s favorite, the trampoline!
