Hello Everyone!
This week marks the many firsts for Aurora class – First Dance class, first Swimming class, first back to Music class and first IB learning experience. It’s was nothing but fun and busy days this week. Slowly but surely we are trying to introduce to them the new routine that they will be having from here on. Happy to say that the kids are up for the challenge and are doing great.
Hopefully, this many new fun firsts experiences would encourage them to keep on keeping on.

みなさん、こんにちは！
今週はオーロラクラスにとって、初めてのダンスクラス、初めてのスイミングクラス、初めての音楽クラス、そして初めてのIBラーニングと、初めてのことがたくさんありました。今週は楽しくて忙しい毎日でした。ゆっくりと、でも確実に、これからの新しい習慣をみんなに伝えています。嬉しいことに、みんなチャレンジ精神旺盛で、とても頑張ってい ます。
このたくさんの楽しい初めての経験が、子供たちの励みになってくれることを願っている。
オーロラのみんな、立派にがんばっているよ。
Dance Class

Swimming Class
Swimming Class was the highlight of the week. Everyone was looking forward to it, they enjoyed dipping their heads underwater and they were not scared at all.
水泳クラスは今週のハイライトでした。みんなずっと楽しみにしていて、水中に潜るのも楽しんでできました。
Music Class– Our music teacher welcomed us back!
音楽の先生が私たちとまた会えたことを歓迎してくれました！
IB learning experience
As an introduction to IB learning, we did our first Essential Agreement which are basically classroom rules that we had to discuss among ourselves. We had to make sure that we all wanted to do it and we needed to agree on it. We will be reminding each other every time about this agreement. The kids including the teachers said ‘YES’ and as a sign of cooperation we all placed a sticker as proof that we will try to do it. Its was fun having the kids get involve in the decision making on how we would conduct ourselves and on how we would keep order in the class.
We also started the assigning Classroom Helpers. Everyone was eager to be part of it.
IBの学習への導入として、私たちは基本的に教室でのルールである「エッセンシャル・アグリーメント（必須合意事項）」を初めて実施しました。基本的に教室でのルールであり、自分たちで話し合って決めるものです。私たちは、この合意について、毎回お互いに思い出しながら行っていきます。先生も含め、子供たちは「YES」と答え、協力の証として、全員でシールを貼りました。どのように行動するか、どのようにクラスの秩序を守るか、子供たちが意思決定に参加するのは楽しいことでした。
クラスルーム・ヘルパーの任命も始めました。みんな熱心に参加してくれました。
At the Park
The Cherry blossoms were in full bloom this week, we were so happy to play and enjoy the outdoors.
今週は桜が満開で、お外での遊びもみんなで楽しみました。
