Our many ”last time as Shooting Stars．） experiences began with a REALLY great final Dance Class． Everyone decided ON the bus that they all really WANTED to try their very best．．．and they DID！
In connection with our unit about community helpers and our OWN responsibility in our communities we had a special guest from Boy Scout Troop 15 come to teach us about FIRST AID: how to help someone who is hurt or sick until professional helpers arrive. We learned what to do for burns, cuts, sunstroke and several other injuries and ailments.
Our reading, writing, thinking, drawing, listening and speaking are all getting better and better, and we’ve got LOTS of great ideas from everyone when we dance the “Hokey-Pokey”!
