Nagano Milky Way and G1 – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 19th – 23rd December

It’s Christmas week at ISN this week. So we learned a lot of Christmas songs and made some fun Christmas crafts to celebrate. We also had a closer look at Christmas in different countries around the world.

This week we also started putting together our 1000 crane strings. We have made so many, but we realized how much more we still need to go. Hopefully, we can finish by the end of the year. It really made us realize how amazing it was that it was made by one person!

We also learned all about the Winter Olympics in Nagano in 1998. The Olympics have become a big part of Japan’s history. The Olympics is a great way for all countries to connect and share their culture. For Nagano, the Olympics was of great importance and so we will have fun learning more next year…

Next week we will be taking a break, so the next time for the blog will be in the New Year! How exciting!

Happy New Year!
