Nagano Milky Way and G1 – What a Wonderful Christmas Show! December 5th – 16th

We had a great 2 weeks leading up to the final performance of our Christmas show. Everyone worked hard practicing and getting ready for their best show yet. I saw lots of great teamwork and each student sharing their knowledge which helped everyone be the best they could be.

I am so proud of everyone and the hard work and effort they put into their Christmas show preparation. By December 9th we were looking like we were almost ready.

On our last few days before the show, we took some rest time from practicing the show. We are continuing to make a thousand cranes and it was nice to focus on something different for a change.

The last 2 days we worked hard on the performance. It was honestly the best version of the show I had ever seen. Everyone put all their passion and enthusiasm into the show. I think it is very important to remember that the students created everything themselves. Not only will the performance be amazing, but the skills and patience they have demonstrated to create a show have been truly admirable.

During the last practice, we had they truly performed the greatest version of the show yet. It brought tears to my eyes and I knew they were ready!

On the day of the Christmas show, everyone did incredibly. What a great Christmas show it was. It was nice to have some great comments from the parents after the show. I am so happy that everyone enjoyed themselves. I think the students can be proud in more ways than one. They created a fantastic show from nothing. They constructed, designed, and performed. I am so proud to watch everyone grow through this process and I believe it was a great learning process for everyone.

I would like to offer my final thanks to all the support every family has shown throughout this process and I believe the kids delivered a show that we can all be very proud of. I am now excited to see what they can make and achieve in the future. It was a wonderful Christmas show wasn’t it mommies and daddies?
