Hello Aurora/Shooting Star families!
We have had another fun week at ISN.
今週もまた楽しい１週間をISNで過ごしました。
We started off the week with a long gym lesson! First, we set out many coloured hula hoops. While our teacher played some music, we walked or hopped around the room. When the music stopped, our teacher said a colour, and we had to race to stand in the correct hoop. After that, we performed an obstacle course. We had to first jump over a platform and, landing on the mat and pouse! After that we crawled through a long tunnel. Next we walked along a balance beam, making sure to go slowly and not fall off. Finally, we walked along some raised blocks, again trying not to fall off. Everyone had a great time, and got plenty of exercise!
今週はジムレッスンから週が始めました! まず、色んな色のフラフープを用意し、音楽が聞こえる間部屋を歩いたりジャンプしたりしました。音楽が止まると、先生が色の名前１つを言い、私たちは先生が言う色のフラフープを探しました。次に障害物競争をしました。まず跳び箱を飛び越え、マットの上に着地してポーズ。その後、私たちは長いトンネルを潜り、バランス棒の上をゆっくりと落ちないように歩きました。最後に、色んな大きさのブロックの上を落ちないように歩きました。みんなで楽しい時間を過ごし、たくさん運動をしました!
Next we did our first craft as a class! We have been discussing the differences and similarities we have, and so we created a self-portrait. First, we discussed what we each have on our faces, ranging from hair to eyes to even masks at the moment! Next, using mirrors we brought from home, we created a portrait of our faces, making sure we checked how we looked using our mirrors. Finally, we took turns showing our pictures to our friends. Everyone did a great job, and there were some very lifelike pictures made!
次に、クラスみんなで初めてのクラフトをしました! 私たちはクラスで個々の違いや共通点について学んできたので、自画像を描きました。まず、髪、目、マスク等、私たちが顔に何を持っているのかを話しました。次に、家から持ってきた鏡を使って、自画像を描き、鏡を使ってどのように見えるかを確認しました。最後に、描いた自画像を友達に見せ合いました。みんな素晴らしい作品を作り、いくつかのリアルな作品も作れました!
And finally, we had a fun trip to the park! This was our first time heading to the park as a class, so we spent a long time practising how to walk as a group, and what rules we needed to follow. Once we got to the park, we had fun playing on the playground, chasing our teacher and being chased by our teacher, and even swinging on the swings. Our older students did a great job helping the younger students take turns on the swings, so well done Shooting Star students! Finally we walked back to school as a group!
最後に公園までの楽しい旅をしました! 授業で初めて公園に向かった為、お友達を一緒に歩く方法や、どんなルールに従うかを練習しました。公園に着くと、プレイグラウンドで遊んだり、先生を追いかけ、追いかけられたり、ブランコをしたりして楽しみました。年上の友達は、年下のお友達のブランコを助ける素晴らしい姿が見られました。Shooting Starのお友達、よく頑張りました。
