Hello everyone! We have started our exploration on different countries around the world through creating our world map, the kids worked together to put up a huge world map puzzle. We also learned about the continents and some countries in Asia. We noticed that our world is so big, and water covered most parts of the world! For parents, thank you for supporting the lesson through the geographic books! Our kids were grateful to used and learned them for this week!
皆さん、こんにちは。Unit３の学びがはじまり、様々な国について知るために、自分たちで世界地図を作ることにしました。子どもたちは、一緒に大きな世界地図のパズルを組み立てました。大陸やアジアの国々についても学びました。世界はとても広く、海の割合がとても大きいことに気が付きました。保護者の皆様、地理の資料をご用意頂き、ありがとうございます。今週は、資料を用いて、たくさんのことを学ぶことができました。
When we were talking about the UOI, one of the kids was interested in sharing his favorite lunch and we talked about it in details. We discussed the origin of the food and surprised that most of the foods were not from Japan! Therefore, we will take this opportunity in this long weekend to have our kids to taste both local and international foods with their parents. Please do support your kids in their homework and enjoy the foods!
UOIについて話をしている時、一人のお子さんが、好きなランチを皆で伝え合うことに興味を持ち、皆で話し合いをしました。食べ物の話をしていると、それらの食べ物は、日本のものではないことに気が付きました。この３連休に、身近な食べ物と海外からの食べ物、両方を、保護者の方と一緒に食べて頂き、ワークシートをするにあたり、ご協力をお願い致します！
We went to a park with magnificent view and had great lunch and activities time with everyone this week! We also learned about how people protect the park through numbers of drainage tunnels at the park. The weather was great and we loved the time spending together there.
遠足に行っていきました！皆で一緒にアクティビティをして過ごし、きれいな景色を眺めたり、一緒に楽しくお弁当を食べました。この公園では、地すべり災害について学べる案内板が各所に設置されていて、どのように公園を守るのかを学ぶこともできました。お天気がとても良く、皆で楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。美味しいお弁当をご用意頂き、ありがとうございました！
