After the AUTUMNAL EQUINOX on 9/23, the VERY-hot days have maybe ended. SHOOTING STAR continues our indoor activities with our music and study lessons here at the Nagano Campus, and with our dancing and swimming lessons off-campus.
９月２３日、秋分の日を堺に、本当に暑かった夏が過ぎましたが、まだ暑い日もありますね。今週も、ダンスレッスンにスイミングレッスン、そして、ミュージックレッスンなど、室内での活動を皆で楽しみました！来週のDance Open Dayでは、いつものレッスンの様子を見ていただければと思います。どうぞよろしくお願い致します。
As we finish up our Unit of Inquiry about plants and other living things, we went to make a close observation of each group’s RADISH planter and BEET planter so we could make a REAL drawing of their condition. Last week we found a few tiny caterpillars eating our radish leaves, and this week we found two BIG “cabbage looper” caterpillars!
今週は、Unit２ ” How plants grow”の まとめの週となりました。「植物が育つには何か必要なのか」、また、「私たちや植物にとって大切な生き物：蜂の役割」について、学んできました。２種類の野菜の種を、プランターにまいてから２８日目、観察記録として、見た通りの絵を書いてみることにしました。
観察の際、先週に続き、今週も青虫を発見！いくつかのグループの野菜の葉っぱが、食べられてしまいましたが、それだけ美味しいのだろうという事もわかりました。先週よりも、青虫は倍以上の大きさになっていました。
Since Coalie, our pet rhinoceros beetle died, we have no class pets, so we decided to keep the 2 caterpillars, feed them cabbage leaves, and watch how they grow… Will they live to become butterflies? In time, we will know…
隣のクラスの先生から頂いたクラスペットのカブトムシ “Coalie”が夏の終わりに、動かなくなってしまいました。クラスでは、死んでしまったカブトムシをどうしたら良いか話し合い、先生の庭の土に埋めました。プランターで見つけた２匹の青虫は、空いた虫かごにいれ、クラスで飼うことにしました。
また、皆で観察していきたいと思います。来週は、１０月のMonthly Songなど紹介できたらと思います。それでは、皆様、良い週末をお過ごしください！
