We started the week by going to the park and had fun playing. The weather was perfect so it was a good time to explore and play outside.
今週は、近くの公園に行き、たくさん身体を動かして遊びました！お天気も良かったので、お外で探検したり、ブランコなどで遊び、皆で楽しく過ごしました。
We also had a craft activity. We made a sunflower because it’s already summer and Father’s Day is coming soon.
今週は、夏らしい工作も行いました。ハサミを使って真剣に作業をして、立体的で、とっても素敵なヒマワリのお花を作りました！６月になり、父の日ももうすぐですね。
At the end of the week, we had our School Open Day. We were delighted to see our Mommies and Daddies visit our class. We did our Morning Circle and played with them. We also had a gender reveal party! We guessed the gender of our teacher’s baby on Monday then we had a party on Friday. Half of the class thought it was a boy, while the other half thought it was a girl. It was exciting to pop the balloons and see the gender at the end. It’s a girl!
School Open Dayの当日、お父さんやお母さんたちがスクールに来てくれるという事で、朝からとても嬉しそうな様子でした。朝の会をして、Gender Reveal Party(赤ちゃんの性別をみんなの前で発表する会)をしました！今週の月曜日、クラスで、先生のお腹にいる赤ちゃんが男の子なのか女の子なのか、皆で当て合いをしていました。「男の子じゃないかな。」「女の子なんじゃない。」意見はちょうど半分に分かれていましたが、Gender Reveal Partyでは風船を割って、最終的に “女の子”だということがわかりました！保護者の皆さま、ご多用の中、参観日にお越し頂きありがとうございました。
