As the picture showed, we had an another extraordinary week of summer program! First of all, we tried a little experiment on making the lava lamp using the materials that we could find at the supermarket (vinegar, oil, colors powder, baking powder and glass containers). We followed the instructions and Ta-da! We had our Glowing lava lamps in the classroom!
みなさん、こんにちは。
今週もここオーロラクラスでも、ワクワク体験サマープログラムが続いています。写真のようななんとも不思議な実験「Science」をみんなで行いました。まずは、身近で手に入る材料：酢、オイル、カラーパウダー、ベーキングパウダー、ガラス容器を準備し、それらの材料を使い溶岩ランプを作る実験をしました。先生が各テーブルに一つずつ、ガラスの容器を置きます。そして、そのガラスの容器の中に材料を入れていきます。子どもたちも順番に混ぜたり、容器に注いだり…そして！ジャジャーン！オーロラに輝く溶岩ランプの完成です🤩
Because it is summer, we also learned about the nature of summer. When we look around us, it is always green. We decided to decorate our classroom and turned it into forest classroom. We created the trees, branches and leaves and pasted them on our classroom’s walls and we were so excited for the result, looking forward to see what else we can do for the classroom!
この夏、オーロラクラスのみんなも毎日元気に過ごしています！今週は夏の自然についても学びました。若葉が生い茂って緑が濃くなり、青々とした木々たちがこの長野キャンパスの周りにもよく見られますが、ここオーロラクラスの中を森のように装飾することにしました。木を作り、枝を作り、そして葉っぱを作り、クラスの壁に貼り付けていきました。そこへは、どんな生き物がやってくるのでしょう？
The noisiest insect you could see during the summer is Cicada. When you hear them, you know summer is here. Therefore, we learned about the cicada this week, we watched the documentary about cicada and we were amazed that cicada lived 17 years underground before they turn into adult! To apply what we have learned, we had a craft lesson and made our own cicada. Now we have those noisiest cicada buddies in our classroom!
夏になると聞こえる最も大きな声で鳴く昆虫は…蝉です。それらを聞くと、夏が来たことが分かります。なので、ここオーロラクラスでは、蝉についても学び、蝉に関するドキュメンタリーを見て、蝉は大人になる前に１７年間もの長い間、地下に住んでいることに驚きました。そして、私たちは、蝉の標本をよく観察しながら蝉のクラフトをしました🤩私たちの蝉もオーロラの木にとまり、大きな声で鳴くでしょう🤩
As usual, we had our pool time everyday outside the schoolground. We are never tired of playing in water. See you all again next week!
今週も元気に園庭のプールでみんなで気持ちよく水遊び、プール遊びをしました。夏の空の下、子どもたちの輝く笑顔がとても健康的で楽しそうでエネルギーを感じました。お友達と一緒だと楽しいね🎵
