Almost SHOWTIME for Nagano Shooting Stars! December 4-8

The shoe designs we drew a couple of weeks ago, we PAINTED this week- some to display on the wall outside our classroom, and SOME to put on the stage for next week’s Christmas show! With daily rehearsals, our lines, songs, dances, stage movements and drama are getting better and better :O)

We are still having some trouble keeping the TEMPO for our pianica song steady and unrushed with no metronome or conductor, but daily practices and an extra lesson are helping us improve. The cooperation and teamwork in our music and our drama bring us closer together.

Busy with Christmas Show preparations, we have only one swimming class in late December, but our weekly dance classes are another fun time to move, dance, run, stretch and play together! We learned a fun NEW dance this week that our teacher says we picked up quickly and well.

Between the activities and rehearsals for the Big Show next Thursday, we also make time to keep up with our UOI studies, our reading and writing, AND some time to play outside in the crisp, almost-wintry air.

On Friday, we had our second and final rehearsal in the hall where we will perform, and got to see the other classes’ costumes and performances. We’re looking forward to a GREAT show, and to seeing you there!
