Nagano Shooting Stars Say Farewell to Milky Way Friends

Despite a snowy start to our week, we found chances to play, dance and jump rope outside as the week went along and the weather got better.

Shooting Stars are excited about being “ALMOST Milky Way!”, and are doing their best to get ready to be the eldest class in the preschool from April. Saying farewell to the 6-year-old friends in the room just south of ours was bittersweet. It was great to talk together, ask and answer questions, and share hugs, but sad to think we will no longer see them every day. We all wish them well as they move on to First Grade, and congratulate them on their graduation!

Only one Birthday Girl this month who is REALLY excited to be turning five!

Everyone is finding and using their own voice more and more often and strongly as we do more and more SOLO speaking and singing. Last month’s “It’s a Small World” is a much-requested song, as is our March Song which ends:

“Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with ME!”

That’s a great wish, and the BEST place to start.
