Hello Everyone! It’s the last week of the month of January and already the beginning of February and here we are once again to update you of our weekly adventures. This week we had a lot of fun, learning and doing different activities.
こんにちは、皆さん！ 1 月の最終週であり、すでに 2 月が始まりました。ここでもう一度、毎週の冒険について更新します。 今週は、さまざまな活動をしたり、学んだりして、とても楽しく過ごしました。
For our UOI Unit 4 – HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES we first did a quick review of the schools organizational chart- Who are the people at school and their roles. In connection to that we went on an ISN SCHOOL TOUR and visited the rooms where they work. To make the activity interesting we did role playing. The kids role played as pilots, passengers and tourists within the school. We pretended we rode an airplane and where having an Aurora group tour. The kids even had their own passports. In each room that we entered the kids got stamps on their passports. The goal of the activity was to learn how the school was physically organized. For most of the Aurora kids it was their first time to see some of the rooms upstairs. In our discussion the kids talked about their favorite room and why. I think the most exciting part for them was playing pretend, collecting the stamps on their passport as well as seeing friends and beloved teachers in their respective rooms.
私たちはどのように組織するか まず、学校の組織図、つまり学校のメンバーとその役割を簡単に確認しました。 それに関連して、私たちは ISN SCHOOL TOUR に参加し、彼らが働いている部屋を訪問しました。 アクティビティを面白くするために、私たちはロールプレイングを行いました。子どもたちは学校内でパイロット、乗客、観光客として役割を果たしました。 私たちは飛行機に乗って、オーロラのグループツアーに参加したふりをしました。 子どもたちは自分のパスポートも持っていました。 私たちが入った各部屋で、子供たちはパスポートにスタンプを押しました。 この活動の目的は、学校が物理的にどのように組織されているかを学ぶことでした。オーロラのほとんどの子供たちにとって、2階の部屋のいくつかを見るのは初めてでした。 話し合いの中で、子供たちは自分の好きな部屋とその理由について話しました。 彼らにとって最も興奮したのは、ごっこ遊びをしたり、パスポートのスタンプを集めたり、それぞれの部屋で友達や大好きな先生に会ったりすることだったと思います。
For Phonics we did PHONICS OLYMPICS a physically and mentally challenging fun game testing and strengthening the kids ABC skills in 3 different areas. We set up 3 stations but before they get to each station they had to face some fun challenges.

Station 3 Looking for things that matches the corresponding letter
The kids happily played and learned the alphabet. They got medals after they completed the game.
フォニックスでは、3 つの異なる分野で子供たちの ABC スキルをテストし、強化する身体的および精神的に挑戦的な楽しいゲームである PHONICS OLYMPICS を実施しました。 3 つのステーションを設定しましたが、各ステーションに到着する前に、いくつかの楽しい課題に直面する必要がありました。

子どもたちは楽しく遊びながらアルファベットを学びました。 ゲームを完了すると、彼らはメダルを受け取りました。
In celebration of Setsubun Aurora watched a short and interesting video explaining what Setsubun is all about after which the kids had to color and cut their demon printout. Almost everyone in class made a colorful and cute version of the demon. The kids didn’t know that the demon will be visiting the class, So they were in for a surprise when suddenly there was an announcement that there were demons spotted in the school. Luckily (wink *wink*) the teachers were ready and had paper balls (beans) for them to fight the demons and so we gave them 2 paper balls (beans) each to throw and told them to say ‘Go away demon’ to ward off any demons coming in. Most of the kids were brave, alert and at the same time nervous. A lot of them cried after they threw the balls (beans) because the demon still stayed a bit, good thing some kids were brave enough to fight back and picked up the balls and threw them back again. It was a thrilling event filled with crying, laughter and feeling of relief and victory for our class. It was the highlight of the day.
節分を祝うために、オーロラさんは節分とは何なのかを説明する短くて興味深いビデオを見ました。その後、子供たちは鬼のプリントに色を塗って切り抜きました。 クラスのほぼ全員が、カラフルでかわいいバージョンの鬼を作りました。 子どもたちは、鬼が教室に来るとは知らなかったので、突然、学校で悪魔が発見されたという発表があり、驚きました。幸いなことに (ウインク *ウインク *) 先生たちは鬼と戦う準備ができていて、紙ボール (豆) を持っていたので、投げるための紙ボール (豆) を子どもたちに 2 つずつ与え、「鬼は去れ」と言うように言いました。 ほとんどの子供たちは勇敢で警戒心があり、同時に緊張していました。
Thank You Dear Friend, See You Again!
One of kids from Aurora will be embarking on a new adventure and we wish him all the best. It was a bittersweet farewell of our dearest friend. The kids gave him a hug and thanked him for his friendship. We will miss you. No goodbyes only See you again! We love you!!! love from your ISN friends and teachers.

and finally We had a BIRTHDAY PARTY for our January Birthday celebrants. We did it together with the whole school and in Aurora class too.
そして最後に、1月の誕生日のお祝い者のために誕生日パーティーを開きました。 学校全体とオーロラクラスでも一緒に行いました。
