Nagano Milky Way: Indian restaurant trip

We went to an Indian restaurant near our school for our lunch trip this week! The purpose of the trip was to observe the differences between Japanese and Indian culture, and we certainly learned a lot from this trip. Every kid wrote their thank you card to the restaurant to show our appreciation. We had our most favorite curry lunch and decided to include the things we saw into our Christmas show such as elephant, nature, and the cuisine. Besides that, below is the video of the Indian dance for Christmas show practice purposes.

In order to have a better understanding of our script practice, we first observed how script practice was done in the elementary class. We noticed and learned various techniques to improve our acting from them, these include using clear voice, focus only on your script while practice, read nicely, using gestures, using different tones and keep trying! We look forward to your committed practice Milky Way.

For dance lesson, every kid gave their best to practice as well!

We started to plant out tulip bulbs this week by using the water bottle that brought last time! We first cut and designed the water bottle and used them as the container for our bulbs, then we are responsible to take care of them until next year. The tulip bulbs will be blooming during the time of our graduation week, and we are looking forward to it!

For phonics, we managed to learn the sound “ear, ere, eer” and the video is below.

It was a wonderful week, see you!
