“Rules and No Rules” Aurora-February 28-March 4

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to another week of fun filled learning activities in Aurora.

✅ Unit of Inquiry

This week we talked more on the importance of keeping the rules. We first watched a video, “Why Rules are Important?” Then the teacher prepared some photos for Aurora students to classify between RULES and NO RULES. After classifying them we reflected the effect of NO RULES and having RULES and why it’s important to keep rules in mind. Aurora students have come up to these ideas; NO RULES make the school community chaotic, but having RULES provide an organized and harmonious school community.

✅ Phrase

We have a new phrase for this month. Our phrase says, What’s this? It’s a pencil. This phrase comes with a song. We did an activity where students put the sentence in order by sticking the word that the teacher mentioned about to make a phrase and we read it through together. What’s amazing on this activity is the fact that Aurora students can read by sounding the letters of the alphabet and they have written their name with their own handwriting. Amazing!

✅ Fun, Fun, Fun

We had so much fun going for a walk and playing in the schoolyard. We keep the rules in our mind even in our outside activities for us to maintain a harmonious community.

Have a great weekend everyone!
