Hello everyone!
We had a busy week full of fun and excitement. We started our UOI, had our first dance, swimming, and music lessons, and had a lot of fun playing outside!
Phonics
Every week we are going to focus on a letter of the alphabet. This week we started with the letter “A”. We do different activities and games throughout the week that help the students recognize the letter and the sound. We had fun making A’s with clay in one of our activities.
Writing
We also did our first writing practice this week. I was very impressed by how nicely everyone was able to hold the pencil and trace the letter. Especially for being our first time! Good job everyone!
Brushing our teeth!
Before we go to the nap room, we sit down together and brush our teeth. We have a big selection of brushing songs we listen to while brushing. The kids love brushing their teeth together with some fun music. 😊
Dance lesson
We went to our first dance lesson this week! Even though we didn’t do any actual dancing yet, we had a lot of fun using our bodies and doing various fun activities.
Swimming lesson
We didn’t have any swimming lessons in Rainbow last week, so this was everyone’s first time going to the pool together. No one was scared of the water and did a fantastic job with all the activities. After the lesson, everyone was talking about how much fun they had. We can’t wait to go back!
