Hello Aurora and Shooting Star families!

We have had another fun week at ISN!
今週も楽しくISNで過ごす事が出来ました👍
We started off the week with a fun trip to the pool!
まずは楽しいスイミングのレッスンです🏊♀️🏊♂️
Both classes are becoming more and more comfortable in the water, which is great to see!
Auroraのお友達もShooting Starのお友達も泳ぐのがどんどん上達して来ましたね❣
We are coming up to our pool open day, where we are looking forward to showing off our great pool progress!
近々プール参観があるので楽しみにしていてくださいね🧡 お父さん、お母さん達に沢山披露しましょう😁
Aurora class is working on being comfortable and independent in the water, and play a variety of games to become more comfortable. These include holding onto pool noodles, diving for rings at the bottom of the pool, and jumping around the perimeter of the pool.
Auroraのお友達は棒状の浮き輪を使用して泳いだり、プールの底に沈んでいるリングを潜ってゲットしたり、プールサイドから飛び込んだりして水に慣れるよう取り組んでいます😃
Shooting Star is already mostly comfortable in the water, so is working on swimming longer and longer distances during their lessons, with a focus on keeping their heads underwater as well.
Shooting Starの皆さんは水に慣れているので、手をしっかり伸ばして１人で長く泳げるように取り組んでいます。😎
Both classes have made great progress, and are excited to show off very soon!

Also this week, we will have a UOI lesson. Our current Transdisciplinary Theme is “How we Organize Ourselves”, our Central Idea is “An understanding of the 3Rs can help us stay healthy and keep our environments clean”, and we are now working on our 2nd Line of Inquiry, “We can do the 3Rs”.
次はUOIのレッスンです。探究テーマは “How we Organize Ourselves”です。探究内容は “An understanding of the 3Rs can help us stay healthy and keep our environments clean” ３Rは私たちを健康に守り環境を綺麗にするです。現在２つ目のUOI“We can do the 3Rs”(３R)について学んでいます。
Later this week, we will start with the first “R”, which is “Reduce”. Our teacher will demonstrate many wasteful activities, such as leaving water, lights and Air Conditioning on, as well as using too much paper, water and other materials. Students will then identify how we can reduce our usage of all of these. Pictures to follow!
そして“Reduce”についてのレッスンがありました。先生が水、電気、エアコン、紙を無駄に使うデモンストレーションをしてどう思うか、どうするべきなのかを発表していきました。🙄 💭 🧻🚿
