We have had another fun week at ISN!
今週もISNでは楽しい１週間を過ごしました。
This week we had the chance to visit the park for the first time in a while!
今週は久しぶりに公園へ行きました🚶♀️🚶♂️
The weather was lovely, so we walked to the park, making sure to avoid the street and pay attention for any cars!
お天気も良かったので、大きな公園まで歩いて行きました。もちろん歩道を歩き、車に注意していきました🚙
When we got to the park, we had fun playing on the swings, playground, chasing our teachers and even the seesaw!
公園ではブランコや、アスレチック、鬼ごっこをして遊び、そして今回はシーソーでも遊びました🏃♂️🏃♀️
Our teachers decided that our students are old enough and sensible enough to use the seesaw safely, so first we had a demonstration of how it worked.
まずシーソーで遊ぶにあたっての注意事項を説明し、理解したうえで遊び始めました。
Our teacher showed us how the heavier student would travel to the bottom of the seesaw, and in order to balance the seesaw, we had to balance the weight on both sides.
シーソーを使って誰がクラスで一番重いかを測ってみました。
Students had fun measuring each other, and trying to find out which combination of students (and even teachers!) would balance.
みんなで楽しく測って行きました。そしてどのお友達とどのお友達を足したら同じ重量になるかも調べてみました。💭
Also this week we had a special UOI trip.
そして、今週は特別なUOIのトリップをしました。
Last week we worked on creating Christmas Cards.
先週、クリスマス🎄カードの作成をクラスでしました。
We decorated our cards with a Christmas tree, a picture of ourselves, and numerous bits of shiny paper and drawings.
カードの中身はポップアップのクリスマスツリー🎄にお友達それぞれの写真がオーナメントのように印刷されているものです。そのカードにそれぞれデコレーションをしました。😁
We then brought in an envelope with the name and address of someone dear to us.
送り先が書いてある封筒にそのクリスマスカードに入れました。
This week we had the opportunity to post these cards, by walking to our local post office and sticking the cards into the postbox.
そのクリスマスカードを今回、最寄りのポストまで投函しに行きました。📪
Everyone had a great time posting the cards, and we can’t wait for you to receive your cards!
