We have had another fun week at ISN!
今週も楽しくISNで生活を送ることが出来ましたね☆彡
Recently we celebrated our November birthdays!
今月は誕生日のお友達がいたので、誕生会をしました🎉
We started off the party with the story of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”.
まず、先生が “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” オオカミ少年のお話をしました📚
Some of our students have started to stretch the truth a bit during school, so our teacher thought this story would be a good reminder of the importance of telling the truth.
ときどきお友達の中に真実とは反対の事を言い、周りを混乱させる事がある為このお話を使って、ウソを言うとどうなってしまうのか１度みんなで考えてみる事にみました。👀👀
Next we interviewed all of the birthday boys and girls, asking them to answer a series of questions in English.
次に誕生日のお友達にインタビューをして楽しみました😍🥰
Finally we sang two songs – the first was a made-up song called “November”, and the second was Happy Birthday.
最後に“November”と言う替え歌を歌い、そしてハッピーバースデーを歌いパーティが終了しました。
November is over now, so we are looking forward to our December birthday party!
既に１１月が終わり、１２月に入りましたね⛄１２月も誕生日のお友達がいます!楽しみにしていてください😉💖
Also this week we worked on a Unit of Inquiry lesson.
今週もUOIのレッスンをしました。
Our Transdicplinary theme is “How we express ourselves”, our Central Idea is “We can show our feelings in different ways” and we are working through our 3rd line of inquiry, “Creating Art”.
探究テーマは “How we express ourselves” です。セントラルIdeaは We can show our feelings in different ways” そして line of inquiryは３つ目の “Creating Art” です。
With Christmas fast approaching, we needed to make some Christmas cards!
今月はクリスマスなのでそれに合わせてクリスマスカードを使い気持ちを表現してみました。🎄🎁✨
Our teacher had prepared some cards for us, with a tree cut-out in the middle, and our faces on the tree.
先生が用意したツリーのポップアップカードに…。
We used crayons, stickers and shiny paper to decorate our cards and make them look lovely.
クレヨン🖍、シール、キラキラの折り紙等使って素敵なカードを作ることが出来ました。🧧🎄🎨
Now that the cards are finished, we will send them to members of our families, who I am sure will enjoy them very much!
カードを受け取った人はどんな気持ちでそして表情で封筒を開けてくれるかな❓❣ そんな事を想像しながら作成しました。
Everyone worked hard, and we are all getting excited for Christmas!
