It has been another so evil week here in rainbow class
This week we made some nice rain crafts and took the bus to our very first gym lesson!

今月からジムレッスンが始まりました！
Crafts
The sky this week has been very gloomy and dark, and full of rain.
So, it’s only fitting that we did a rainy craft this week.
We used blue paint and our hands to make some nice handprints on a piece of paper. Next, we glued a cloud over the handprints to make it look like it was raining!
In the cloud it says “Rain rain go away. Come again another day. Little (students name) you want to play!”
今週は雨続きですね、青く晴れた空が恋しいです！そこで、いつもみんなで歌ってる“Rain Rain go away”の歌詞を少し変えてレインボークラスのお友達の名前を入れたクラフトをしました。青色の絵の具を手に塗り画用紙にペタペタ、その画用紙をさかさまにすると雨の様に見えます。梅雨が明け、青空の下でまた元気いっぱい遊べますように。
作品は廊下の壁に飾ってありますのでご覧ください。
We also colored what we will use for name signs for our sport festival.
It’s always fun to see everyone’s unique way of coloring and color choice!
そして今週は、もうひとつ！スポーツフェスティバルで使用するネームボードの塗り絵をしました。カラフルで個性豊かな素敵なネームボードができました。
当日、壁に飾りますのでお子様と一緒に探してみてください。
Gym lesson
This week we took the bus to our very first gym lessons this week!
Everyone was excited to ride the bus with all their friends, and the atmosphere inside the bus was lively and fun.
We had a high energy and pace gym lesson!
We started the lesson by doing some light stretches and warming up together.
Next, we did some more stretching on the mat together. We did a bow pose, cobra pose and a crab pose, just to mention a few.
We also a rope on the mat for balancing and jumping exercises.
みんな大好きなバスに乗りジムレッスンに行ってきました。ジムレッスンに行くお話をすると“バスに乗る？”“みんなでバスに乗っていくの？”と大興奮していました。バスの中でもお友達とお話をしたり、“電車”“クレーン車”と窓から外を見ながらとっても楽しい雰囲気でした。
準備運動を先生と一緒にして、先ずはマットの上でどんぐり、カニ、コブラなどのポーズを数秒間順番に行いました。先生に手伝ってもらいながら
体勢をキープ。そして次にロープを使いロープを踏まない様に歩いたり、ロープに沿ってジャンプする練習もしました。初めてのジムレッスンでしたが、とても楽しそうに参加していました。
Learning is fun!
For the month of July, we will be focusing on learning about sea animals.
We started by learning the animals from the song “A Sailor Went To Sea”.
The animals from the song are seahorse, jellyfish, turtle, octopus, shark and whale.
The song is very fun, so please sing it together at home when you have time.
海には、どんな生き物がいるのかな？
今月は、海の生き物の名前を学んでいます。歌の中には、くらげ、亀、クジラ、タコ、サメなど沢山の生き物がでてきます、歌を歌いながら名前を覚え、後で発音を確認。どれもみんな大好きな歌です。お家でもお子さんと一緒に歌ってみてください。
We will also focus more on the letters A, B, C, D and E this month.
This week we have been doing different activities and talking about the phonics of this month’s letters. One of the fun activities we did was a fun fishing game. The students did their best to fin and fish up the letter A and B! Good job everyone!
今月は、ABCDEにフォーカスを当ててお勉強しています。一つ一つ発音を確認しながら先生と一緒に声に出して練習しました。みんな元気よく大きな声で発音することができましたよ。そして数種類あるお魚カードから先生が言ったアルファベットを探し、竿で釣るゲームをしました。みんな真剣に探し、見つけたときは歓声があがっていました。毎日、少しずつ楽しく学んでいます。
