Hello Aurora and Shooting Star families!
We have had another fun week at ISN!
The highlight of this week has been our outdoor swimming pool!
今週のピックアップは園庭でのプールです！
Now that Summer is officially here, we are able to spend time playing in the pool.
６月２２日から夏がスタートしました。プールもオープンです☆彡
We have had the chance to play in the pool several times this week.
今週は何度かプールで遊ぶことが出来ました。
Each time that we play in the pool, we first talk about our pool rules. These include no diving, no pushing, and no running on the stairs, as these can get very slippery. We also discuss how to use the space so that everyone can have fun safely, as well as the correct methods of entering/exiting the pool.
プールの時間が始まると最初にプール遊びのルールについてしっかりお話をしました。飛び込み、友達を押さない、とても滑りやすいので階段では走らない、そしてプール前後でシャワーをします。 そして、友達と間隔を開けて遊ぶ事の大切さそして、プールへ出入りする方法をお話しました。
Students have a range of different swimsuits and swim caps, and some students also wear sunscreen and large floppy hats while playing outside.
みんなそれぞれの水着、水泳帽、そして日焼け止め、そして大きな日焼け止め防止の大きな外遊びの帽子をつけていましたね！
We have a number of different toys we can play with in the pool. Students have enjoyed pouring water from one cup to another, filling up buckets with water and pouring them out, as well as splashing the water with different sized balls, and measuring the size of the splash.
プール用のおもちゃもたくさん用意しました！プールの水を汲んでカップに移したり、バケツの水をひっくり返してお友達にかけてあげたりサイズの違うボールを使って水しぶきを立てて大きさを比べたりしました。
Our teachers also can spray us with water from the hose, if we ask them to. Some students enjoy exiting the pool and instead getting sprayed with the hose outside of the pool, and then finally returning back into the pool.
もっと水が欲しいお友達には先生がホースで水をかけたりもしました。プールの中で遊ばずにホースで先生に水をかけられて楽しみ、その後にプールで遊ぶお友達もいました。
If we ever get cold while swimming in the pool, we have the option of exiting the pool, and laying down in the sun in order to warm up our bodies. Many students will exit the pool and dry off, then head back into the water once they get too warm from the sun.
プールの水が少し寒く感じるお友達は、プールから出て園庭の芝生の上で横になり日差しを浴び体を温めました。プールから出て乾かすお友達はいましたが、沢山日差しを浴びてまた暑くなってきたお友達はプールへ戻り遊びました。
We will continue swimming during the coming weeks, especially when the weather gets very warm in the hottest part of Summer.
また来週また暑い日があったらプール遊びをしようと思います。楽しみにしていてくださいね☆彡
