Hello everyone!
It’s been a very special week for our precious rainbow students.
We had our first birthday party and a nice picnic inside!

今週は、お誕生日会、室内でのピクニックと、いつもと違ったイベントがありました。
Indoor picnic
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our first bus trip this year due to the pandemic.
However, that doesn’t mean that we can’t still enjoy eating our lunch boxes together in a nice picnic!
Thank you, parents, for making such wonderful lunch boxes for your kids. They were all very excited and proud to show their teachers!
みんな楽しみにしていましたバストリップがコロナの影響で残念ながら中止となってしまいました。そこで！クラス内ではありますが、みんなでシートを敷いてお弁当を食べました。朝からお弁当の時間が待ち遠しくワクワク、ウキウキ！
いつもとは、違ったランチタイムにみんな大興奮！笑顔が沢山のピクニックになりました。
お忙しい中、お弁当を作ってくださりありがとうございました。
Playing outside
We are enjoying playing outside before the rainy season comes.
It’s nice to see everyone’s high energy when playing outside. Chasing their teachers seems to be one of their favorite activities!
お天気が良い時は、園庭で身体をたくさん動かし、遊びました。
外では、おもいっきり走り回り、先生達と追いかけっこをしたり、お砂場、すべり台と思い思いに楽しみました。
Coloring
I’m very happy to see that so many of our students can name the different colors they use!
It’s fun to see everyone’s different style. Some has very powerful way of coloring!
We colored a picture that will be used for this week’s craft.
今週は、てるてる坊主の塗り絵をしました。とてもカラフルなてるてる坊主、パワフルなてるてる坊主、可愛らしいてるてる坊主などさまざまなてるてる坊主さん達ができあがりました。これは何色、こっちは何色とお友達と色をお話しながら塗っていました。梅雨の季節がすぐそこまできてますが、みんなで作った
てるてる坊主を飾り、晴れの日がたくさんありますようにとお願いしましょう。
Dancing exercise
Moving our bodies is very important, so we try to move and use our bodies as much as possible every day. This week, we had a long dance and exercise party in rainbow class! But, of course, the most important thing is that everyone has a lot of fun!
今週もクラスでダンス、エクササイズをし身体を動かしました。
音楽に合わせて先生の真似をしたり、創作ダンスをするお友達もいましたよ。
知ってる曲が流れると歓声が沸き、知らない曲では、お友達を見て一緒に真似て踊ったりしてました。とっても楽しい時間となりました。
Happy birthday!
We celebrated the birthday for the kids born in April and May this week!
The birthday kids had to stand in front of everyone at the front of the class. It can be scary, but they did a great job!
We did a short interview, asking about their name, age and favorite color.
They also received a special birthday card from their teachers.
After that everyone sang happy birthday together, and congratulated them once more.
今週は、お誕生日会がありました。４，５月生まれの３名のお友達のお誕生日をレインボーさんみんなとお祝いしました。
皆の前に並んでもらい先生からお名前、年齢、好きな色などのインタビューを受けました。少し恥ずかしそうでしたが、元気よく答えることが出来ました。
そして先生からバースデーカードを受け取り、みんなでハッピーバースデーの歌を歌いました。４、５月生まれのお友達のみんな“お誕生日おめでとう！”
Music class
In this week’s music class, we played with hoops for the first time!
We held them around our bodies and pretended to be buses.
We walked around the room, changing our speed according to the tempo of the music the teacher was playing. Then something terrible happened! Our bus broke down! To repair it, we held our hoops and banged them on the floor in the same rhythm as the teacher.
今週は、フープを使いバスの運転手さんに変身！テンポや音の変化を聞き分けながら歩いたり、止まったりしました。途中バスが故障⁉バスの修理では、フープを縦にし、床にリズムを打ち修理完了！再度音楽に合わせて出発！
最後のお花が笑ったの歌を練習しながらスカーフで作ったお花をゆらゆら～。
今週も楽しいリトミックの時間を過ごしました。
