Hello everyone!
It has been another exciting week here at ISN. We were finally able to answer “It’s snowy today” when asking about the weather this week!
ISN長野キャンパスレインボークラスの保護者の皆さま、こんにちは！
寒くなったり、暖かくなったりと毎日の気温差が激しい日が続いていますが、レインボーさん達は元気いっぱい色々な事にチャレンジしました。
今週は朝からずっと雪が舞っていた日があり、みんな口をそろえて“今日の天気は雪”と!!外で舞っている雪をみながらみんな興奮していました。
Music class
In this week’s music class, we continued to take a look at different animal cards. We talked about the sound they make and compared the size of the different animals. We then used some rope and repeated last weeks balance practice. We increased the difficulty a bit this week by not only walking on a straight path, but a path full of twists and turns. We finished the lesson by singing “Ten little Indians” while clapping along to the rhythm of the song.
今週のリトミックは、ゆっくりと集中して歩く、大きなもの、小さなものを探し、物の大小から音の強弱を理解する、そして最後は１０人のインディアンズをゆっくりのテンポから徐々に速くして歌う、手でリズムをとる練習をしました。
みんな集中しながらゆっくりとカーブをつけたロープの上を鈴を持ちロープからはずれないように、鈴を鳴らさずに頑張って歩く事ができました。
先生のお話を聞きながら大きい、小さいを先生と一緒に手や体を使い表現することができました。１０人のインディアンズもみんな大きな声で手でリズムを取りながら歌えることができています。
Free play
We use our bodies to play both outside and inside the classroom when we have some extra time. When playing inside, they kid have a variety of different toys or puzzles to play with. The main focus with this time is of course to have fun, but we also learn about the importance of playing together, sharing our toys and cleaning up the toys we are using if we want to play with something else.
今週はクラスでブロック、パズル、ローマ字ブロック、建築ごっこなどをしてあそびました。遊びを通して、お友達との会話、オモチャのシェアーの仕方、オモチャの貸し借りなどを学びながら楽しく過ごしています。
次の遊びに移るときは、片付けをし、次の遊びにいくようにしています。
Pool open day
We would like to thank all the parents for showing up for our pool open day! The kids were so excited on the bus to the pool, and I could tell they really enjoyed showing you all the fun they have in the pool. There were some tears shed when they had to say goodbye to their precious mommies and daddies, but the sadness didn’t last long as everyone was happy eating their lunch!
お忙しい中プール参観にお越し頂きありがとうございました。
どのお友達も朝からとても楽しみにしていて、バスの中はいつも以上に賑やか！どのお友達もお父さん、お母さんを前にいつもの様に頑張っていました。最後は、寂しさもあり涙が見られましたが、お昼ご飯の時には笑顔に戻りお腹いっぱいランチを食べ、いつもの様に過ごしていました。
