Hello everyone! It has been a nice and warmer week in Rainbow class. I hope you all enjoyed the day off on Tuesday! When we asked the kids, they all said that they had a wonderful time with their family!

火曜日は祝日でした、家族と楽しいお休みを過ごされたようですね。
週後半は、気温も上がり春らしい陽気が感じられました。
今週もレインボーさん達は元気いっぱい楽しい一週間を過ごしました。
Crafts (Family theme)
Continuing with our family theme this week, we made some very nice cards for our families. First the kids got a chance to draw something nice on a piece of paper. Some drew their mommies, some drew hearts, and others took a more abstract approach to their drawing. We also used a family picture that they brought from home, and decorated it with hearts and stars! Before we started, the kids had to show the picture to the class and introduce their family members. Some of the phrases we practiced were: “This is my mommy, daddy, grandma etc.” and they finished with “This is my family”. Everyone was really excited to show their family picture to the class!
先週に引き続き、家族をテーマに今週はクラフトをしました。
思い思いにカードサイズの紙に家族への思いを込めて絵を描き、お持ち頂いた写真と一緒にアルバムに張り付け写真の周りを飾り付けしました。星にハートとても可愛いアルバムができあがりましたよ！
次に写真をみんなの前で見せながら“私の家族、パパ、ママ、おじいちゃん、おばあちゃん、兄弟/姉妹”と紹介してくれました！みんなキラキラした目でうれしそうに紹介してくれました。
作品はクラス内のロッカーの上に飾ってありますのでご覧ください。
Music
We also had another exciting music class this week. We started the lesson by taking a look at some examples of the difference between big and small things. We then had a special challenge for everyone! The kids had to try and balance on a rope that was laying down on the floor. After successfully balancing across the rope to the other side it was time to make it a little more difficult! The second time they had to hold a tambourine while balancing. The goal was to hold it so still it didn’t make any sound.
今週のリトミックは新しい事に挑戦しました！
ゆっくり、集中して歩く練習をしました、先生が用意してくれたロープの上をロープから外れる事無く歩きます。みんな真剣な表情でバランスを取りながら歩く事ができました。次に鈴を持ち、鈴をならさない様にロープの上をゆっくり歩きます！みんな集中しながらゆっくり、ゆっくりと歩いてました。先にゴールしていたお友達は、“がんばって”と他のお友達を応援してくれました。
どのお友達も集中して上手にできました！来週も楽しみですね。
