Hello everyone!
Christmas is approaching and we are all busy preparing for our Christmas show.
It’s been a busy, but fun week!

今週もお友達と一緒に楽しい一週間を過ごしました。
Birthday party
One of our wonderful rainbow student turned 3 in November, so we had our monthly birthday party for her last week! The birthday girl was called up to stand in front of everyone. She received her crown and had to answer a few questions about herself. She then received a birthday card from her teachers! We all sang happy birthday together before she sat down again. After the celebration one of the teachers told the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Everyone sat nicely and paid attention to the story!
先週の金曜日にお誕生日会がありました、今月はレインボークラスから１名お誕生日を迎えたお友達がいました。お誕生日の歌をみんなで歌い、インタビューを受けバースデーカードを先生からもらいました。その後、先生が“三匹のクマ”のお話をしてくれました！みんな静かに座って耳を傾けて聞いていました。今月のお誕生日会もみんなで楽しい時間を過ごしました。
Gym
We had some fun new challenges for the everyone in this week’s gym class.
The lesson started with our usual stretches and warm up.
For our first activity, the kids ran from one side of the room to the other.
After they touched the wall on the other side, they had to run back again. But this time they had to run backwards! Good job everyone keeping your balance!
Next we repeated last weeks activity.
The kids paired up and had to roll across the floor while holding hands. The first time they could roll at a normal speed, but the second time they had to go fast!
Our last activity got everyone very excited!
Everyone stood behind a line made by rope on the floor and got to throw newspaper balls as fast and hard as they could!
今週もたくさん体を動かし、楽しいジムレッスンになりました。
いつもの様にしっかり準備運動し体を温めてからレッスンスタートです！
初めに壁から壁へ普通に走り、今度は難易度を上げて後ろ向で早歩きです！みんんな苦戦しながらも一生懸命頑張っていました。次にロープをジャンプ！ロープを踏まないように確認しながら一つずつ高くジャンプできました。そして今週もお友達と手をつないでコロコロコロ～！先週よりもスムーズに上手にできました。最後に紙ボールを腕の力を使い遠くへ投げる練習をしました、みんなとても楽しそうに沢山ボールを遠くへと投げていました。今週はどのお友達が一番遠くに投げれたかな？来週のジムレッスンも楽しみですね！
Swimming
Before entering the pool, we did our usual stretching and took a shower.
We started the lesson off by splashing around with our feet and splashing some water on our shoulder, stomach and face. The cute baby doll was used again to help show the children how to do the various activities. We set up the platforms in the water in a circle so the kids could walk a few rounds. After walking, the kids then had to crawl through a hoop that the teacher was holding.
Next, we collected some fun pictures from the edge of the pool and stuck them on a float the teacher was holding on the other side.
Finally, the kids had to walk to the edge of the platform and jump out into the teachers arms.
みんなが楽しみにしていたスイミングレッスンがありました。
今週も息継ぎの練習やお水に顔をつけたり、雨シャワーや顔の拭き方の練習をしました。どのお友達もお水を怖がらず上手にできました。赤い台を外し（少し深くなりますが足はつきます）プールの中へ入る練習もしました、お腹を壁につけてゆっくり、ズリズリと下がり水の中へ！怖がる様子もなくみんな上手にできました。他にもワニサン歩きでフープをくぐったり、カードを取りに行き先生が持ってるボードに張り付けたりしました。最後に先生に向かってジャンプし、先生が体を支えてくれ水の中をお散歩しました。とても嬉しそうでした。
次回のレッスンも楽しみですね。
Music
This week’s music class was very special!
We had our first rehearsal of the Christmas show.
That meant that the rainbow kids had to perform in front of everyone in Aurora, but it also meant we got to enjoy seeing Auroras performance for the Christmas show. We will continue to practice hard in the next coming weeks.
今週のリトミックはオーロラさんと一緒にクリスマスショーの練習をしました。レインボーさんはオーロラさん達を前にしてのパフォーマンスに少し緊張した様子でしたが元気いっぱい行うことができました。クリスマスショーまであと少しですね、今からとても楽しみです。
