Hello everyone!
It has been another exciting week here at ISN with our wonderful Rainbow students.
ISN長野キャンパスレインボークラスの保護者の皆さま、こんにちは！
今週もISNで楽しい１週間を過ごしました。
We are at the end of August and it’s gradually getting cooler. That means this will be the last week of our pool in the school yard. The students have been enjoying their time with the pool this summer, and this week was no exception! Some of the students had fun splashing around in the pool, while others enjoyed using their imagination in the sandpit.
８月も終わり、だいぶ過ごしやすくなってきました。そして園庭でのプール遊びは今月で終わりです。
お忙しい朝に、毎日お子様の検温にご協力いただき誠にありがとうございました。
みんなとても楽しそうに水遊びをしたり、お水に顔をつけたり、お砂場ではおもちゃで色々な形を作って遊びました。
おもちゃの貸し借りも上手にできました。
Everyone did a great job in gym class this week!
We started the lesson by swarming up and stretching our bodies. Then we practised our balance and jumping skills. The kids had to jump across the mat with their hands over their heads as bunnies, and then they had to jump on and off a small vaulting box. They also took take turns rolling and walking as a bear across the mat.
今週のジムクラスの様子です。
先生のお話をしっかり聞いて、身体を丸めたり、伸ばしたりストレッチをし、マットの上をウサギさんになってジャンプ！
平均台をゆっくり渡り、跳び箱ではカエルさんになってジャンプ！みんなとっても上手にできました。
最後の決めポーズもばっちりでした。
新しい事にどんどんチャレンジし、沢山の事を吸収していっています。
Continuing on with our fruit theme this month, we decided to make some watermelons of our own!
Our watermelons were made out of paper plates and coloured origami paper.
The kids put glue on the plates and then stuck the paper to the plates making a watermelon. They then took a marker and drew some dots to make seeds.
Everyone did a great job, and the result was some wonderful watermelons.

今月にテーマはフルーツ！
沢山のフルーツの名前を覚えてきました。その中からスイカをみんなで作りました。
紙皿に緑とピンクの切った折り紙を糊で上手にペタペタと言いながら張り付けて、緑は皮、ピンクは果肉を表現し、
種はマジックで！
みんな目を輝かせ、笑顔でお友達とお喋りしながら作っていました。とっても美味しそうなかわいいスイカができました。
We had another fun music class.
The students got flashcards of different fruit. They then had to fin the same one the teacher was holding up and say the name of the fruit. Next, the kids paired up and held each end of a rope. They shook the rope according to the music. Fast music meant fast shaking, and slow music meant slow shaking. For our last activity, we sat in pairs and handed each other a ball back and forth. Saying “どうぞ” when giving the ball, and “ありがとう” when receiving it.
今週も楽しいリトミックがありました。
ブドウ、バナナ、オレンジ、リンゴ、スイカの5種類のカードを使いフラッシュカードを使って遊びました。！
みんなちゃんと先生と同じカードを見つけてフルーツの名前を言いながら嬉しそうにカードを見せていました。
音楽に合わせてロープを大きく揺らしたり、小さく揺らしたり、
他にもペアーになりボールを使い優しくお友達に“どうぞ”と渡し“ありがとう”と受け取る練習をしました。
みんなとても楽しそうに音楽に合わせながら体を動かしていました。
Lastly, I want to mention our song of the month.
This month’s song has been “Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun”.
The kids have all done a fantastic job singing and dancing to the song every day!
今月はMr.Sun,Sun,Mr Golden Sun をみんなで歌っています。
みんなとても上手に踊りながら歌っていました。
