Show and Tell
We started our Show and Tell in our circle time where we bring something from home this week. We ask the class to guess what mystery thing we have. We practice being communicators and inquirers during the Show and Tell by asking questions for hints. We agree that we only show it to the class during the Show and Tell time.
今週は、家から何かを持ってきて、それをサークルタイムで、Show and Tellをすることを始めました。クラスのみんなに、私たちが持っている謎のものを推測してもらいます。Show and Tellの間、ヒントを得るために質問をすることで、コミュニケーションと質問の練習をします。クラスに見せるのはShow and Tellの時間だけと決めています。
UOI
We did another self-assessment of our LOI 2: How our spending choices impact our lives. We thought about where we are in this line of inquiry. Aside from this, we were interviewed to support our self-assessment.
私たちは、LOI 2「支出の選択が生活にどのような影響を与えるか」について、もう一度自己評価を行いました。この調査の方向性について、自分たちがどこにいるのかを考えました。これとは別に、自己評価を裏付けるためにインタビューも受けました。
We also did shop pretend where we were given only 100 yen to spend. We decided what to buy with our money. Some of us bought fruits, vegetables, and Japanese food like sushi because they’re healthy. Some bought sweets like cake, macaroons, and donuts because we love them.
また、100円だけ与えられた買い物ごっこもしました。そのお金で何を買うかを自分たちで決めました。健康にいいからという理由で、果物や野菜、お寿司などの日本食を買った数名の子ども達がいました。ケーキやマカロン、ドーナツなどの大好きなお菓子を買った子ども達もいました。
We made bracelets to sell in our bazaar next week. We enjoyed making it and would love to make more!
来週のバザーで販売するブレスレットを作りました。作るのがとても楽しかったので、もっと作りたいです。
Workstation
We had a weaving activity using strips of colored paper. We practiced cutting along the line and inserting the strips of paper in and out of the bear for our fine motor skills development.
色紙の細片を使って織るアクティビティを行いました。線に沿って切ったり、クマの中に紙の細片を入れたり出したりの練習をすることで、細かい運動能力を発達させました。
