“Let’s do it again! Again, Again!”
This was the kids’ statement after doing the Christmas Show. They had so much fun!
クリスマスショーがとても楽しかった様で、たくさんのお友達が“Let’s do it again! Again, Again!” と嬉しそうにお話してくれました🤩
The Christmas show is one of our memorable events of the year. The Christmas play was one of our favorites because we were able to express ourselves and portray our favorite characters. It was the application of what we’ve learned in UOI. We were able to tell a story to an audience through a stage play, identify the elements of a story, and communicate with everyone through a play.
クリスマスショーは、思い出に残るイベントの1つです🎄
劇では、大好きなキャラクターになり自分自身を表現し演じる事ができたので、みんなのお気に入りの1つです。
UOIで学んだ”様々な物語の伝え方”のひとつ、舞台を通して観客の皆様に物語を伝え、物語の構成、要素を見出し、劇を通してみんなとコミュニケーションをとることができました。
クリスマスショーに向けて、毎日たくさん練習をしてきました。役の気持ち考える事から始め、表情や動きを付けていき、時には子どもたち自身で動きを考え提案し合う姿、日を追うごとに子ども達の表情も変わり、笑顔で劇、役を楽しんで練習してる様子がみられました。お友達同士助け合う姿、一緒に考え作り上げる姿に子ども達の成長を感じました。
We were also proud of ourselves that we were able to play Jingle Bell with our pianica! It was such a wonderful experience for all of us.
ピアニカでジングルベルの演奏をできたことを誇りに思います🎵私たちにとっても素晴らしい経験となりました😊素敵な演奏をありがとう🎶✨

The day after the Christmas Show, we talked about our favorite part of the show. Most of us loved the play “The Gingerbread Man and Friends” especially our characters. A few loved the part when we sang “O Christmas Tree” and “Jingle Bell Rock” with all our friends and teachers in ISN Nagano
クリスマスショーの次の日に、みんなが一番思い出に残ってるシーン、大好きなシーンについてお話をしました。ほとんどのお友達は、劇で演じた“The Gingerbread Man and Friends”、特にキャラクターが印象的だったとお話してくれました。他にもISNのお友達、先生とみんなで一緒に歌った“O Christmas Tree” and “Jingle Bell Rock”が楽しかったとお話してくれたお友達もいました。
So, to remember our favorite parts of the show, we drew them and showed our drawing to the class.

Christmas is just around the corner. We decorated our own mini Christmas tree that shows our personality and creativity.
