Hello everyone!
みなさん、こんにちは。
It has been another fun week here in Aurora class. We took the bus again to our gym lesson, started getting ready to play pianica in our music lesson, has fun playing outside, and reviewed what we have learned in our OUI lessons.
ここオーロラクラスでは、また楽しい一週間をみんなで過ごしました。私たちは、バスに乗ってジムレッスンへ行き、ミュージックレッスンでは、初めてキーボードに触れ、また元気に外遊びを楽しみ、UOIレッスンでは学んだ事を振り返りをしました。
UOI
Last week we had our last lesson of this unit. This week we have been reviewing the unit, and started our reflection interviews. We had our summative assessment on Monday as part the review discussions. After the discussion, we walked around the school to see of what was organized and clean, or we could find something that needed to be cleaned up. It’s nice to see that they can understand some of the main points we wanted to get across.
先週、このユニットの最後のレッスンがありました。今週はユニットの復習を行い、振り返りのインタビューを開始しました。レビューディスカッションの一環として、月曜日に総括的な評価を行いました。話し合いの後、私たちは学校を歩き回り、何が整理され綺麗になっているかを確認しました。また、綺麗にする必要があるものをみつけることが出来ました。子どもたちが私たちが伝えたかった大切なポイントをしっかり理解できていることを知れ、嬉しかったです。
Gym lesson
The energy was high as we took the bus to our gym lesson. It has been a little while since last time, so the kids were pumped! We did some stretches and used the mat to do various activities. The kids are getting very good at all the exercises now! I was impressed by how well many of our Aurora kids were able to do sit-ups during one of the exercises! We got some strong kids in our class!
みんなでバスに乗り、ジムレッスンに行くと元気がたくさん出ました!!前回のジムレッスンからしばらく経っていたので、子どもたちはとても楽しそうに活動をしていました。ストレッチをしたり、マットを使って様々な活動をしました。子どもたちは、この一年を通して様々なマット運動をしてきました。腕の力、足の力、腹筋、背筋、バランスなど、子どもたちの上達ぶりがとても頼もしくこれからが楽しみになります🤩
Crafts
For our crafts this week, we made some nice bookmarks for our friends in Milky way. We wanted to give them something as a thank you for always being so nice to us, and for playing so nicely with us for these past years!
今週のクラフト活動では、あと少しで卒園してしまうミルキーウェイのお兄さんお姉さんのためにブックマークを作ることにしました。いつも私たちにとても親切にしてくれ、たくさん一緒に遊んでくれたお兄さんお姉さんに「ありがとう！」を伝えるためにブックマーク「しおり」をプレゼント🎁することにしました。
Each bookmark has one of the graduating students’ names on it, along with some patterns. Each Aurora student got one bookmark each to color with whatever colors or shapes they wanted. Since it was present for their older friends, everyone worked very seriously!
それぞれのブックマークには、卒園生の名前と模様が描かれています。オーロラのみんなは、好きな色で丁寧に色を塗っていきます。子どもたちは、ミルキーウェイのお兄さんお姉さんとの楽しい時間を思い出しながら、みんな真剣にこだわりながら作成していました。喜んでもらえるといいね🤩
Music lesson
We had a very special music lesson this week. We started our practice playing the keyboard! First, the teacher talked about how our hands should be positioned when we start to play.
She had a big picture of the keys from the keyboard, and demonstrated how they should put their fingers in order to find the” do” key. The kids also got a chance to try it on the picture before moving on to the real thing.
今週のミュージックレッスンでは、キーボードを弾く練習を始めました。
キーボードを触る前に、先生は最初にどのように指を置くのかを絵をみながら教えてくれました。キーボードのキーの全体像をみんなにわかりやすく見せてくれ、そして「ド」のキーを見つけるために指をどのように置いたらよいかを見せてくれました。子どもたちは本物のキーボードを触る前に絵でそれを試しました。
The kids split up in groups of 4, each with their own keyboard. The teachers helped as the kids tried to find and press the “do” key. We did it with the sound off the first time, but turned it on after that.
今回は４つのグループに分かれて、キーボードの「ド」の音を弾いてみることにしました。一人ずつキーボードの前に立ち、手をピースの形にして黒い二本のお山の上に乗せ、手を開いた親指の位置「ド」を探してみました。みんなが「ド」のキーの場所がわかりました🤩二回目の挑戦では、電源をオンにして、実際に音を出してみました。すると♪「ド」の音がでました！！みんなとっても嬉しそうでした🤩やったね🎵
Math
We are still working on our number recognition for the numbers between 11-20, so we did another fun color by numbers worksheet this week. Everyone is getting more confident when talking about numbers now. They had no problems identifying the different numbers.
引き続き、11から20までの数字の認識に取り組んでいるので、今週は数字を使った楽しいワークシートに取り組みました。今、子どもたちは数字について話すとき、みんな自信をもっています。数の認識も、数を識別しながら色を塗れていました🤩
Returning to the park!
Although it’s not technically spring yet, the spring weather has come to Nagano! And what better way to enjoy the nice weather than going to the park! It’s been a long time since we last had the chance to play in the park, so the kids were all really excited!
今週は暖かい日が続き🌷春の訪れを感じる陽気となりました。今週は公園へみんなで出かけました。久しぶりの公園へのお出かけに子どもたちはみんなとってもワクワクしていました。
I was happy to see how fast and smoothly we are able to walk to the park now. You can definitely tell that our Aurora students have grown up so much!
公園への道のりも年度当初に比べると歩くスピードが速くなり、とてもスムーズです🤩公園への行き帰りのしっかりした足取りに一年間の成長が感じられました🤩
At the park, the energy was high as they played with all the different equipment. Last time we visited the park, there was a lot of ants living there. The kids wondered where all the ants had gone to, so they decided to search for them. They searched through the park thoroughly, but were unable to find any of their tiny friends. Maybe next time!
公園では、さまざまな遊具で遊び、みんなエネルギーに満ち溢れていました！！前回、公園を訪れた時に見たアリさん…今回もアリさんを探してみますが、どこにも見当たりません。子どもたちは、アリさんがどこへ行ってしまったのか疑問に思いました。そして、子どもたちは、公園を徹底的に探すことにしましたが…小さな友達を探すことはできませんでした…。
