We have had another fun week at ISN!
今週も楽しくISNで生活が出来ましたね❣
We started off the week with another fun UOI lesson!
まずは楽しいUOIのレッスンです📚✎
Our transdiscplinary theme is “How we organize ourselves”, our Central Idea is “An understanding of the 3Rs can help us stay healthy and keep our environments clean”, and our current Line of Inquiry 2 is “How can we reduce, reuse and recycle items?”.
探究テーマは “How we organize ourselves” 探究内容は “An understanding of the 3Rs can help us stay healthy and keep our environments clean” そして２つ目の Line of Inquiry “How can we reduce, reuse and recycle items?” についてのレッスンをしました✏
This week, we started to learn about what the word Reuse means. Our teacher explained that to reuse something means to use it again, rather than throwing it away after one use.
今週は再利用について考えてみました。先生からResuseとは再び利用する事、１度使用して終わりにせずに再度利用するとの説明がありました✨
To show a practical example of this, we made some mask cases!
早速、再利用とはどの様な事かマスクケース作りながら実践してみました。
We have been wearing masks everyday recently, so we need a place to store our clean masks!
クラスでは常にマスク着用しており、必須アイテムの１つになっています。しかし、新しいマスクの保管場所が統一されていなかったので、今回作ることにしました✂
We used old candy wrappers that had the tops cut off, along with a zipper and a sheet of plastic to make our cases.
予めお家からお持ち頂いていた空になったお菓子の袋の上の部分を綺麗に切り、そこにへ両面テープでチャックを付け、袋の表面にラミネートシートを張りその後、自分のイニシャルをつけてデコレーションしオリジナルのマスクケースを作りました😁✨
Students worked hard to make them, with the older students helping the younger students!
みなさん一生懸命集中して作業をしました。Shooting Starのお友達はAuroraのお友達をしっかりサポート出来ましたね🐣
We even had a visit from the local newspaper during this craft!
地元の新聞記者の方も来てくださり、取材も受けました😲
Everyone worked hard, and we will start using our new mask cases from next week!

Also this week, we had more fun swimming lessons.
今週はスイミングのレッスンもありました🏊♀️🏊♂️
For both classes, this was the final lesson before our parents come to watch us very soon!
Auroraのお友達も Shooting Starのお友達もプール参観前の最後のレッスンになりました。
Both classes have done a great job in their lessons!
みなさん、良く頑張りましたね😉
Aurora class showed off how brave they all were when they put their whole heads into the water going through hula hoops and blowing bubbles underwater during their lesson!
Auroraクラスは水の中へ潜り、水中にあるフラフープをくぐり抜けることが出来ました。そして、水中ではしっかり息を吐く事も出来るようになりました😁👍
Shooting Star showed off their bravery by opening their eyes underwater without their goggles, telling their coaches which coloured balls they saw!
Shooting Starクラスではゴーグルなしで水中で目をあける事が出来ました。コーチが水中でカラーボールを持っていて、その色を当てるゲームをしました😁👍
We are very excited for both classes to show off just how much they have improved this year!
この１年でみなさん色んな事が出来るようになりましたね😃💖プール参観が待ち遠しいですね❤❤❤
