Nagano Shooting Star – Summer art (August 5th-9th)

Hello everyone!

It was a fantastic last week of our summer school. I want to thank all of our new friends for joining us this summer! A big thank you and good job to all of our Shooting Star students for welcoming and caring for their new summer friends.

Water play

This summer, we spent a lot of time cooling down by playing with water outside. One of the parents generously donated a water table to our school, and all the classes had a fantastic time playing with it!

We also went fishing using small net scoops to catch toy fish and rubber ducks.

Water gun painting

Our class recently had a fun outdoor activity with water gun painting! Each student had a large piece of paper hung on the fence and used water guns filled with colorful, water-based paints to spray and create unique patterns. It was exciting to see how the colors blended on the paper, and everyone enjoyed the playful, creative process. By the end, each student had their own vibrant artwork to show off, all while having a great time together.

Book reading

Recently, our students have been bringing English books from home for the teacher to read to the class. It’s been a wonderful way to share favorite stories and introduce new ones to everyone.

I hope everyone enjoys your summer holidays!
