Nagano Rainbow~Preparations for the sports festival(September 17th-20th)

Hello everyone!

The weather’s ups and downs can significantly impact our daily lives. Please be cautious of your health. In Rainbow, we were swamped preparing for our sports festival.

Outside play

Last Tuesday was hot, but we still wanted to play outside, so we played in the water to keep cool while having fun. The kids poured water on themselves often, and we hydrated ourselves frequently. Some stayed under the shade when they felt hot.

Gym Lesson

First and foremost, we played the Chasing Tail Game, which was our most requested fun game. We tried again the obstacles we always did, the stepping stone and the ring we randomly placed in a position we wanted. The teacher put a ring that we had to pass through to make it more challenging. Lastly, we scattered the cones, rings, and stepping stones. To start the game, the teacher showed us a colored string and told us to bring the color he had shown us.

Music Lesson

Today`s music lesson started with greetings, and everyone did very well. Then the teacher showed us the blue see-through oversized scarf again and asked what shape it was. We were overjoyed to show the scarf’s shape using our little hands.

We also practiced using the maracas nicely. Even if we move our little hands, they can make a sound, so we were cautious when playing the maracas along with the music.

Craft

We made a craft as part of our preparations for the sports festival. We were overjoyed when we did this because of the fascinating character stickers. We also decorated our banners.

We did our monthly theme craft, which was matching the shapes. Everyone`s way of thinking was terrific!

For this month’s birthday celebrants, Happy Birthday!!! We have two celebrants in Rainbow this month.

This is the phonic song we’re singing this month, and we liked it. Enjoy singing it with your kids, too.

Thank you for visiting our blog, and see you again next week.

Have a beautiful weekend!
