Nagano Milky Way: Beating the Sweltering Summer Heat (Aug. 5th-9th)

Summer heat is sweltering so it was a good time to play in the water outside. We scooped fish and ducks using a fragile paper-made catcher. The goal was to scoop them out of the water without ripping the paper. We also played with a water turbine toy. We had fun pouring water into it so the turbine would continuously move.

We did a Math quiz with our teams. We wrote the numbers that our teacher said and filled in the missing numbers in the number order.

We also did fish and turtle craft activities. Coloring and making something out of paper is exciting for us.

We ended the week with a sumptuous lunch as we went to Sandhya Restaurant, an Indian restaurant near the school. We had a fun experience eating at a restaurant together. We’re ecstatic and contented with what we ordered. In the end, we thanked them for serving us good food.

Thank you! Have a great summer break!
