Hello Everyone!
It’s the 2nd week of our Awesome Summer Program-2024. It’s been an unforgettable experience so far for everyone. It’s yet another busy week, filled with new activities that the kids tried in our outside water play and in our indoor play together with friends. Read on and Check out what we did this week.
素晴らしいサマープログラム-2024も2週目に入りました。これまでのところ、みんなにとって忘れられない経験となっています。外での水遊びや室内でのお友達との遊びなど、新しいアクティビティが盛りだくさんでした。今週私たちがしたことをチェックしてみてください。
Day 1 – We had our water play. We added some Floating Alphabets and Numbers in our mini pool the kids collected, identified and played with them. Kids were eager to show the beginning letter of their name and other letters and numbers that they recognized. For their craft we did Ice Painting – it’s frozen paint (ice cubed paint) that we smudged on paper, they had fun mixing the colors and creating patterns, the challenge was for everyone to paint swiftly before the ice paint melted. For final touches they used ear buds (cotton buds) as a brush, they dipped it in their favorite color and they did freestyle art.
水遊びをしました。ミニプールにアルファベットと数字を浮かべて、みんなはそれを集め、識別して遊びました。自分の名前の頭文字や、他の文字や数字がわかるものを見せようと夢中で取り組みました。制作の時間にはアイスペインティングという、凍らせた絵の具（氷のキューブ状の絵の具）を紙に塗り、色を混ぜたり模様をつけたりして楽しみました。最後の仕上げには、耳かき（綿棒）を筆に見立て、好きな色をつけてフリースタイル・アートを楽しみました。
Day 2 – We had our Summer Bus Trip. We went to the nearby Mamejima Park. We enjoyed the wide open space park filled with shady trees, were we had a Picnic. The kids loved playing in the Playground– the slide, the climbing rope tower, the sand pit area and the mini zip line.There they ran around freely. After sometime had our Water Play at the Mini Pond with Fountains. We all felt refreshed playing in the cool water under the heat of the sun. Kids had fun splashing themselves and getting wet. It was such a fun day being in a new place playing together with our friends. Of course riding the bus was part of the thrill too.
夏のバストリップがありました。近くの豆島公園へ。木陰のある広々とした公園でピクニックを楽しみました。オーロラさんたちは滑り台、ロープタワー、砂場、ミニジップラインで遊ぶのが大好きで、自由に走り回っていました。その後、噴水のあるミニ池で水遊びもしました。暑い日差しの下、冷たい水の中で遊んでリフレッシュできました。みんな水しぶきをあげて濡れるのを楽しんでいました。新しい場所で友達と一緒に遊ぶのはとても楽しい一日となりました。もちろん、バスに乗るのもスリルの一部ですね。
Day 3 – For our Water play we had Iced ABC’s for the kids to play and learn. We also did some outdoor Spray Painting and made their own masterpieces. This way we don’t worry about being a bit messy. For our indoor craft, It’s cutting practice time to make our Sunflower. Super cute!
水遊びでは、遊びながら学べるようにABCの氷を用意しました。また、屋外でスプレーペインティングをし、自分たちだけの作品を作りました。これなら少々散らかっても心配ありません。室内でのクラフトは、ひまわりのカットの練習です。とってもかわいい！
Day 4 – We had our Water Play as usual and we did Fishing using some fish nets. Kids were so eager to get a fish and 2 ducks that they can take home. Indoors we made our Handprint Sea Creatures Craft. So! Cute. What’s your favorite sea creature under the sea? They chose from either an octopus, a fish or a crab.
いつものように水遊びをし、魚網を使って金魚すくいをしました。みんな金魚とアヒル2羽を家に持ち帰るのをとても楽しみにしていました。室内では、手形で海の生き物を作りました。かわいい！かわいい。海中で一番好きな海の生き物は？タコ、魚、カニの中から好きなものを選びました。
Day 5 – Last Day of our Summer Program (BOO! 😜) We had our waterplay and did Colorful Bubble Art outdoors. Using our bubble gun, colored soapy bubbles, some paper, kids imagination, curiosity, creativity and Viola! they made their art. For our indoor craft, kids try some Paper Folding or Origami to better their fine motor skills while creating different shapes. To end the summer event, we had our Summer Film Showing featuring Curious George. (We used the projector and dimmed the room to add some cinematic feel). The kids had a relaxing time watching together.
水遊びをした後、屋外でカラフル・バブル・アートをした。バブルガン、色のついたシャボン玉、紙、子供たちの想像力、好奇心、創造力を使って、ビオラ！アートを作りました。屋内でのクラフトでは、折り紙や折り紙を折って、いろいろな形を作りながら運動能力を高めました。夏のイベントを締めくくるのは、キュリアス・ジョージを特集したサマーフィルム上映会。(プロジェクターを使い、部屋を暗くして映画のような雰囲気を演出しました）。みんなで一緒に映画を見ながらリラックスした時間を過ごしました。
We are a bit sad that this two week Summer Event has come to an end. We all had an awesome experience learning through playing, doing arts and crafts, trying out different activities and having lots of fun games together which makes lasting summer memories. We wish to do more…But now, it’s Family Bonding time. So enjoy the rest of the summer holidays with your loved ones.

この2週間のサマーイベントが終わってしまい、少し寂しいです。遊びを通して学んだり、アートやクラフトをしたり、いろいろなアクティビティに挑戦したり、一緒に楽しいゲームをたくさんしたりと、いつまでも残る夏の思い出を作ることができました。でも今は、家族の絆を深める時間です。残りの夏休みを大切な人と楽しんでください。
