This week was different from our usual daily activities. We had to prioritize our health and other classes as well. We had to stay home for three days but it didn’t stop us from learning and seeing each other. We had two days of online lessons. We had morning circle and group sessions . In our group sessions, we discussed whether each scenario is a need or a want. We were happy that we were able to see each other even online.
今週は、いつもの日々の活動とは違いました。私たちは健康や他の授業も優先しなければなりませんでした。3日間家にいなければなりませんでしたが、学習やお互いの交流は妨げられませんでした。2日間オンライン授業を受けました。朝のサークルとグループセッションがありました。グループセッションでは、それぞれのシナリオが必要なのか、欲しいのかを話し合いました。オンラインでもお互いに会えて嬉しかったです。
We came back to school on Thursday and played with water outside. We had two teams. The game’s goal was to pass the water overhead to the person behind us. The last person in line will pour the water in his cup into the bucket. The team that has the most water wins. The boys’ team won!
木曜日に学校に戻り、外で水遊びをしました。2 つのチームに分かれて、頭上の水を後ろの人に渡すのがゲームの目的です。最後に並んでいる人が、コップの水をバケツに注ぎます。水をたくさん持っているチームが勝ちです。男子チームが勝ちました!
Show and Tell
Showing our friends our toys or anything that makes us happy is always exciting. The class guesses what’s in the mystery box or bag. We get to ask yes/ no questions or wh-questions for hints. There were stuffed toys, Pokemon cards, dinosaur toy and Pokemon book, soccer medal, and Sylvanian family kitchen toys.
友達におもちゃや、自分を幸せにしてくれるものを見せるのはいつも楽しいです。クラスでは、謎の箱やバッグの中に何が入っているかを推測します。ヒントを得るために、はい/いいえの質問やwh-questionをすることができます。ぬいぐるみ、ポケモンカード、恐竜のおもちゃとポケモンの本、サッカーのメダル、シルバニアファミリーのキッチンのおもちゃなどがありました。

We watched a magic trick at the birthday party. The teacher shook the bottle with water and it had different flavored juices. So we thought of how it was done and tested our theory. We put paint on the cap and shook it, so the paint mixed with water. And we were right! We tested our theory with different colors and we were able to put up our juice shop!
誕生日パーティーでマジックを見ました。先生が水を入れたボトルを振ると、さまざまな味のジュースが出てきました。それで私たちはその仕組みを考えて、理論をテストしました。キャップに絵の具をつけて振ると、絵の具が水と混ざりました。そして私たちの考えは正しかったのです！さまざまな色で理論をテストし、ジュースショップを開くことができました！
