Hello Everyone! Hello July! and Hello Summer!
This days we can feel the intense heat during the day and the cool breeze during the night. Surely summer is here and we will warm things up even more with the children’s smiles and laughters.
昼は猛暑、夜は涼しい風を感じる今日この頃です。夏が来たところに、子どもたちの笑顔と笑い声で、さらにあたたかい教室になりますね。
UOI 2 – AN INTRODUCTION
For Aurora class July marks the beginning of our UOI 2 adventure. Our transdiciplinary theme is Sharing the Planet. Central Idea being Farm Animals Help Us with LOI 1: Farm Animals LOI 2: How take care of farm animals.
This week we did an activity that is an introduction of our UOI 2, the activity also helped as an assessment of how much things they know or don’t know in connection to our new theme. The activity was for the kids to identify what a farm is, what is in the farm and what animals belong to the farm. It was an educational yet fun way of learning.
We will be learning UOI 2 for next 3 mos. from July – September.
オーロラクラスにとって、7月はUOI2の冒険の始まりです。私たちの分野ごとのテーマは「Sharing the Planet. 地球の共有」です。
LOI 1: Farm Animals（牧場の動物） LOI 2: How take care of farm animals（牧場の動物の世話をする方法）です。
今週、私たちはUOI 2の導入となるアクティビティを行いました。このアクティビティは、子供たちが新しいテーマに関連してどれだけのことを知っているか、あるいは知らないかを評価するたすけにもなります。このアクティビティは、牧場とは何か、牧場には何があるのか、牧場にはどんな動物がいるのかを子供たちが識別するためのものでした。教育的でありながら楽しい学びの方法でした。
これから7月から9月までの3ヶ月間、UOI 2を学びます。
CUTTING PRACTICE
The kids started to use their scissors, we practiced how to hold it the right way. We also talked about how to safely use the scissors in the class. Then the cutting practice began they were all doing their best, They were very focused.
オーロラさんはハサミを使い始め、正しい持ち方を練習しました。また、クラスのみんなでハサミを安全に使う方法についても話しました。その後、紙を切る練習を始めると、みんなとても集中して頑張っていました。
DANCE LESSONS
Dance time is always a fun time for them , with this once a week exercise routine their gross motor skills are getting more developed and their body growing healthier.
ダンスの時間はいつも楽しい時間で、週1回のこの運動習慣のおかげで、みんなの粗大運動能力はより発達し、身体はより健康になっていくでしょう。
MUSIC
Music helps change their mood and develops their listening skills.
音楽は子どもたちの気分を変え、聞く力を養うのに役立ちます。
OUTSIDE PLAY
The heat cannot stop these little ones from playing outside. These days they especially love to play with water.
暑さに負けず、かわいいオーロラさんたちは外で遊びます。最近は特に水遊びが大好きです。
PHONICS
Here we are continuing with our weekly abc’s with the Letter’s E and F
週ごとのabc’sの続きでEとFをやりました。
