Nagano Milky Way: We think and communicate! (June 10th-14th)

Good day everyone!

What a nice week! We talked and thought very carefully about how needs and wants are different then sorted items whether they are needs and wants. Some of us had different opinions but in the end, agreed to one idea. Needs are the things that we can’t live without while wants are our desires.

We also watched a news report about donating items that flood survivors from America need. After watching the news, we understood more that other people don’t have the things that we have because of numerous reasons like calamities, and donating items to the needy is one way of showing how we care. We can also help with our muscles, which means manpower.

Japanese Lesson

We have always been excited about our Japanese lesson and this week we practiced writing the hiragana character te (て). It was a bit difficult for some of us but we worked hard to write it properly.

Workstation

We had two stations this week: origami and tying a knot. We tried hard and we’re going to practice more next week. Tying the knot was the most difficult part for everyone.

It’s Playtime!

We played the In and Out game where we had to listen to the leader and do what he said. If he says “in, ” we have to hop in the box; if out, we have to hop out of the box.

We also played basketball outside with Shooting Star friends. We practiced dribbling and shooting the ball.
