Nagano Rainbow~ Drawings float! (June 26th-30th)

Good day everyone!

Welcome to Rainbow’s last blog of June. It is getting hotter these days; summer is officially here! We had another fun week; we differentiated sea animals from land animals for the last week of our monthly theme. We were all amazed at how every one of us did it! Even on rainy days, we had fun making sea animals using clay.

Clay

We had so much fun making sea animals using our favorite clay. Our cute little voices echoed what we made, such as fish, stingrays, starfish, octopus, etc. Some of us said we wanted to do it more! But sad to say, it’s time for lunch, and whether we like it or not, we must stop and save our excitement for the next clay play.

Drawings float

Have you ever wished your drawings would come alive and the stick figures on your papers could move around? It sounds impossible, but it is not! In this activity, we made our drawings move around by letting them float on water. These whiteboard markers are perfect for doing science with, of course, water that matches for a terrific outcome.

Music

We had so much fun using yarn to create significant big and small waves for this week’s Music lesson. We learned three kinds of shapes: round, triangle, and square, using our little hands.

Sea animal

Finalizing our learnings for this month, we mixed land animals and sea animals flashcards. We chose one animal and put which it belonged. All of us did a terrific job! Good job, Rainbow!

Outside play

Since it’s getting hotter, we encouraged everyone to drink water frequently when playing outside for hydration.

Thank you for visiting our blog, have a lovely weekend! See you again next week.
