Nagano Milky Way: Japanese tea ceremony

We are blessed with the chance to learn about the traditional tea ceremony this week! It was one of our kids’ parents who contribute and spent their time to teach us the lesson. We were taught to sit appropriately, bow while shaping triangle with our hands, and rotate the tea bowl before drinking the tea. We learned the importance of the manners in tea culture and appreciate the beauty of Japanese tea ceremony. Thank you for coming all the way to help us know more about the Japanese culture!

We continuously learning about teamwork through various activities, then we reflected on our actions and asked ourselves “What are good actions to do in team?”. Besides that, we realized that we have a lot of conflicts lately, therefore we always come back to the 5 fingers rule. We learned that teacher doesn’t have to solve all the problems, but we become independent and think about what to do. Way to go, Milky Way!

Below is the video about conflict solving through 5 finger rules!
