Aurora Nagano: Preparation week!

As the title suggested, Aurora kids have been preparing themselves mentally and physically for the upcoming events in December. This included the Christmas show rehearsal and Christmas wish for Santa. We have been grateful for the supports of parents that help us to improve their kid’s performance at home, and we gradually see the better results from our Aurora kids. This week we went to the actual venue where the Christmas show will be held. We did the full rehearsal on our play and music performance; this allows our kids to get familiar with the positions where they going to stand and the place. Good news is the kids did their best in their individual role, this made us to really look forward to their actual show on that day. Go! Go! Aurora!

This week we also went to the gym! The activities this week are even more challenging, one of them was the rolling up and down from the “steep hill”, although the kids were struggling at rolling up, but they became excited when they finally got up the steep and rolled down in fast speed. Besides that, we also did some intense jumps. The kids ran towards the jumping platform and jump as high as possible to reach the mat. The kids were satisfied and had fun with the gym activities that day.

Since Christmas is coming soon, the kids were looking forward to receiving gifts from the Santa Claus. Therefore, we decided to send a letter to Santa through post! First, we wrote the address on the envelope, design and draw our wishes on the letter (which the kids thought about what they want to receive this Christmas due to their proper behaves). Once we wrote the letter, we put them in the envelope and ready to send to the post. Magically, there was a post near our school, and it appeared only for this week! So, we grabbed the chance and went to that magic post to deliver our messages to Santa. The magic post disappeared right after we all finished insert the envelope and flew straight to Santa’s house. Let us wait patiently on what Santa will reply to our message!

Outside play is always our favorite activity of the week!
