Hello Aurora families!
長野キャンパスオーロラクラスの保護者の皆さま、こんにちは！
We have had another great week at ISN!
今週の様子をお伝えしていきます。
We started off the week with another fun trip to the park! We walked very nicely with our friends in Rainbow class. Once we got to the park, we reminded our Rainbow friends of the Park Rules. This time, we sadly couldn’t go on the swings, as the recent rainy weather made the ground too muddy. Instead, we had fun playing on the playground, and chasing our teachers/being chased by our teachers. Everyone got a lot of exercise, and set a great example for their younger friends.
今週も公園に行きました！レインボーのお友だちと上手に歩いて公園に到着です。まず公園でのお約束を確認。でも今週は雨が降って地面がドロドロだったためブランコでは遊べませんでした。かわりに先生と鬼ごっこをし、とってもとっても走り回りました！たくさん体を動かし、そしてちいさなお友だちのよい見本となって遊ぶことができました。
Next we had another fun swimming lesson. Everyone sat very nicely on the bus to the pool, and even made some funny jokes in English! After getting our swimsuits on, everyone showered, and finally entered the pool. We started off by splashing our legs in the water, making lots of waves. After that, we got some rings, and with the help of our teachers, went underwater to catch them before they hit the bottom. Next we used our kickboards, and crossed over the pool, with help from our teachers. And finally, we did a giant circuit – walking and swimming along our platform, jumping into the pool again, going under a hula hoop, and finally putting a rubber duck into the basket. スイミングレッスンの様子です。バスではちゃんと座ることができ、英語でジョークを言える子もいます！！レッスンでは、バタ足練習で水面を激しく揺らします。その後、プールに落としたリングが底に着く前に水中でキャッチする練習をしました。みんな頭までお水にザブンと入れることができます！次には上手にビート板を使っての浮いて進む練習をしました。腕を伸ばして、顎をビート板にのせて体を浮かせます。みんな上手にできました！最後は台の上を歩いて/泳いでいき、プールの中に大ジャンプ！フラフープをくぐったあとは、ヒヨコさんを赤いおうちに入れてあげる、サーキット練習です。もうどんな活動も怖がらずにできるオーロラさんです。ご連絡の通り、もし必要な方はゴーグルのご準備をお願いいたします。
Finally, we had another fun music lesson! We started off with a nice greeting in pairs. After that, we practised clapping using our whole hands, as well as individual fingers. Next, we continued practising our musical instruments. First we got more familiar with our Castanets. After that we practised making rhythms on our jingly bells. At first we made a steady 1-2 beat, and worked our way up to making a 1-2-3-4 rhythm! Finally, we sang London Bridge is Falling Down, walking and running around the classroom with our hula hoops, speeding up or slowing down based on the tempo our teacher played. Everyone is doing a great job in music class!
今週のリトミックでは、いつものようにペアになってのご挨拶から始めました。そして、手のひらで決められた数の拍手をする練習、それをそれぞれの指でもやってみました。お姉さん指を一本だけ出すのはとっても大変ですが、オーロラさん、試行錯誤しながら両手のお姉さん指で拍を打ちました！続いてカスタネットとスズの練習です。１拍から始め、最後は２拍の中で３回叩くという練習も。難しいと思いきや、みんな上手に鳴らしました。だんだん「音をそろえる」ことがわかってきたオーロラさんたちです！最後はロンドン橋の歌を歌いながら、曲の速さに合わせて歩いたり走ったりして、体をたくさん動かしました。みんな、楽しくできました。
