Hello everyone!
It has been another fun week in Rainbow here at ISN!
ISN長野キャンパスレインボークラスの保護者の皆さま、こんにちは！
朝夕の冷え込みが一層厳しくなり、冬の足音がすぐそこまでやってきてるようですがレインボーさんたちは元気いっぱい楽しい一週間をお友達と過ごしました。
Schoolyard
The weather was nice and sunny one day, so we used the chance to play outside in our schoolyard.
As always, the kids had the option to play in the sandpit, play on the playground or kick the ball around. However, this week we also had something extra for all the students. We put out some hoops on the ground the kids could jump across and some obstacles they could balance over.
We also brought out our monkey bar!
秋晴れのお天気に恵まれ園庭でオーロラさん達と一緒にアスレチック、鉄棒、砂遊びにすべり台、鬼ごっこやボール遊びと楽しい時間を過ごしました。
砂場ではケーキやアイスクリーム屋さんごっこをしたり、鉄棒では先生に手伝ってもらいながら前回りに挑戦しました。
Gym
This weeks gym class was full of energy and fun!
We started the lesson with our usual stretches and warm up.
The kids then had to jump over a box by placing both their hands on the box and then jumping over/
We started easy by letting the kids both the box and just jump up and down while holding it.
It got a little more complicated each time they tried, and the goal was to eventually be able to jump over, or at least jump on top of it.
At the end of the lesson we used our Eye–hand coordination in a fun activity with balloons!
The children had to throw the balloon in the air and catch it again before it hit the ground.
今週も跳び箱に挑戦しました。
手をつく位置を確認し、腕で体を支えながらジャンプし跳び箱の上に座る練習を繰り返し行いました。もうすぐ跳び箱が飛べる⁉くらい上手にできました。
次回が楽しみですね！
最後に一人一つ風船を受け取り上に投げキャッチ、数秒間風船を下に落とさないようにキャッチしたり、浮かしたりとみんな風船から目を離さないように頑張りました。今週も楽しいジムレッスンとなりました。
Swimming lesson
We had another great swimming lesson this week!
Everyone is always very excited before we go the pool, so the bus ride is full of smiles and laughter from everyone!
The kids used their rings as car handles, and pretending to drive a car from one side of the platform to the other. The next activity was collecting balls laying on the platform under the water, and putting them into a basket the teacher was holding. Next, we used to hoop again. The kids had to crawl through the hoop and to the edge of the pool. Next, the kids picked up balls floating in the water and put them in the hoop at the side of the pool.
今週も楽しいスイミングレッスンがありました。
バスの中でも今週は何をやるんだろうとワクワクしながらむかいました。
みんなとても上手なワニさん歩き、フープを使いプールの中を運転し歩いたり、カラフルなボールを水中から拾い先生が持ってるバスケットに入れたり、フープの中に集めたりしました。
いつもは水の中に台をひいていますが、今週は台を外しプールサイドからプールの中に直接入る（足は着きます）練習もしました。お腹をしたにして、プールサイドにつかまり、ゆっくりと中に入っていきました、みんなとても上手にできました。“できた～、できた～”と嬉しそうでした。
みんな笑顔いっぱいでレッスンに参加していました。
Music
After our usual greeting song, we practiced balancing on one leg.
We walked around the room while the teacher was playing the piano.
When the music stopped, we had to stop and balance on one foot until the music started playing again. Next, we practiced using our tambourine for the christmas show. The kids have to hit the tambourine in rhythm to the song while singing. Good luck Rainbow! I’m sure you will do a great job at the Christmas show!
今週も楽しいリトミックがありました。
元気よく挨拶をしてレッスンスタート！まず初めにスキップへのアプローチ!!
片足で立ちバランスをとりながら、先生の合図を待って違う足に変える練習をし、その後音楽に合わせて歩き、音楽が止まったら片足で立つを繰り返し行いました。バランスをとりながらみんな頑張りました。
そして最後に鈴を使いクリスマスの歌に合わせてリズムをとる練習をしました。クリスマスショーの為にみんな一生懸命、真剣に取り組んでいました。
Christmas show song
Speaking of the Christmas show.
We have already started practicing singing one of the songs we’ll perform at the show.
The first song Rainbow will sing at the show is “It’s A Small World After All”
Everyone already knew the chorus, and it’s a big favorite in the class.
Here is the song we are using with the English lyrics.
クリスマスショーに向けて歌の練習を始めました。まずは”小さな世界”をみんなで英語で歌いま、この曲を知ってるお友達もいて大きな声で歌ってくれました。毎日頑張って練習をしています！
お家でもお子さんと一緒に聴いて、歌ってみてください。
