Hello everyone!
As things are gradually starting to get back normal, Rainbow class is also getting used to their daily routines. And as always, we have a lot of fun together! There is nothing more important when you are learning new things than to have fun!

少しずつではありますが、日常生活も戻ってきてるように感じる今日この頃です。レインボークラスのお友達もみんな揃い新しい事にチャレンジし、様々な事を日々吸収しながら楽しく過ごしています。
First trip to the park!
Our first trip to the park together was a lot of fun!
今週は、久しぶりにみんなで公園に遊びにいきました！
We have been practicing walking while holding the rope before, but this was the first time we actually used all the way to the park. I’m so happy that everyone was able to hold the rope and walk safely to the park together. Good job everyone!
以前、みんなでロープを持ち公園まで歩く練習を園庭で行いました。それ以来なかなか公園に行くことができませんでしたが！
今回は、みんな揃って一緒に公園まで歩いて行くことができました、お友達と並び、ロープをしっかりと握り、前を向いて歩く！先生とのお約束を守りしっかり歩いて行くことが出来ましたね。
After first arriving at the park, we have a big drink and then go over the rules for playing nicely together. We had so much fun playing together! Some chose to climb on the playground, while others had fun with the swings. Time passed so quickly, and before we knew it, it was already time to go back to school. We can’t wait for our next trip to the park!
公園に着いたら水分補給をしっかりし、先生と公園で遊ぶ時のお約束をしてスタートです。みんな楽しみに待っていたこの日！一斉に走り出し、ブランコ、アスレチック、広い公園でおもいっきり走り回ったりと、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。楽しい時間はあっという間、帰りの準備をしルールを守りしっかり歩いてスクールに戻ってきました。また公園に行ってみんなでたくさん遊ぼうね！
Exercising is fun!
We had a fun gym lesson this week.
We started off by doing different jumping exercises to warm up our bodies. For our first activity, we used a big pink ball. The teacher and the kids rolled the big pink ball to each other. Everyone was able to push the ball in a nice straight line back to their teacher! Next, we sat down and the kids rolled a smaller ball between each other. We also did a nice little obstacle course consisting of jumping across hoops, balancing on a beam, throwing a ball in a basket and finally, crawling through a tunnel
今週は、ボール、平均台、トンネル、フープを使い身体全体を使った運動をしまっした。初めにジャンプ！その場で数回ジャンプし、前後にジャンプ、そして左右にジャンプ、その後一連の動作を繋げてやってみました。みんな上手にできましたね。次に大きなボールを転がす練習です！先生が転がしたボールをキャッチし、先生の元へ転がす。そして今度は、お友達同士並び距離を取り、向かい合い大きなボールを使い一番端にいるお友達から順番にジグザグにお友達へボールを転がしていきます。コントロールもよく、ちゃんとお友達の所へボールを転がせました。次は、フープ、平均台、バランス台、トンネルを使い障害物レースを作りました、ジャンプ、ケンパをしフープを渡り、平均台、バランス台でしっかりバランスを取り渡り、トンネルで腕と足を使い駆け抜けました！慎重なお友達もいれば、すごい速さで進んでいくお友達もいました。
We ended the lesson by throwing small newspaper balls into a basket. Everyone had to stand behind the line, and try to hit inside the basket. It’s nice to have such and active and fun class!
最後は、紙ボールを使い前に置いてあるカゴめがけて投げます！線から出ないように確かめながら、腕を前にめいっぱい伸ばしカゴに入るように頑張って投げていました。“先生入ったよ”“やったー”とお話しながら楽しくできました。来週も楽しみですね。
Music lesson
We had another fantastic music class this week!
We started the lesson by pretending to be bunnies. We put our hands over our heads to make rabbit ears. We then jumped around the room, adjusting our speed according to the music the teacher was playing. We also repeated our fun bus ride using hoops from last week.
今週のリトミックは、うさぎさんに変身！手で長い耳を作りうさぎになって音楽に合わせてジャンプします。テンポが速くなったり、遅くなったり、途中ウッドブロックがなり、鳴った音の数だけ手を叩きます。大きな耳でリズム、音を聞きわける練習をしました。
Monthly theme (Body parts)
This month we will be talking about “My body”.
That means we’ll be talking about and learning the name of many of our own body parts!
This week, we started off easy by leaning the names of the following body parts: Head, shoulder, knees, toes, eyes, ears, mouth and nose. As you probably guessed, it has all the body parts that is included in the popular children song “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes”! The song is not only good for learning, but also gives you a good workout!
今月は、体のパーツに焦点を当ててお勉強しています。
今週は、頭、肩、膝、つま先、目、耳、口、鼻を英語ではなんて言うのか！
先生と一緒にひとつ、ひとつ確認し、歌も歌いながら覚えています。
“頭、かた、ひざ、あし”の歌を歌いながら手を使い頭の時は、手を頭に、肩の時は、手を肩に！身体も一緒に動かしながら楽しく学んでいます。
お時間がある時に、お子さまと一緒に歌ったり、踊ったり、目、鼻は英語でなんて言うの？と質問してみてください。
We also did a fun activity to reinforce what they have been learning.
Each student got a set of paper eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
They then had to glue the parts to a head to make a nice face. How do you think our creative kids did?

１人１人に、シートと体のパーツを渡し、口、目、鼻を張り付け顔を作ったり、各パーツを使い体を作りました。先生と一緒に足は英語で？腕は？と確認しながら作成しました。先生の顔、お友達の顔を見ながら、位置を確認！みんな真剣に取り組んでいました。作品は、廊下の壁に展示してありますのでお子様と一緒にご覧ください。
