Hello everyone!
It has been a short, but fun week here in rainbow class.The weather has been better, so we had the chance to use the pool outside again!

今週もすっきりしないお天気が続きましたが、晴れ間を見て園庭でのプールを楽しみました。
However, this week’s blog will be focusing on our sports festival from last week.I want than everyone for taking the time out of your day and sharing a fun day together. 😊
今週のブログは、先週行われた運動会について紹介したいと思います。
コロナの影響で短い練習期間ではありましたが、どのお友達もこの日の為に頑張って練習をしてきました。
保護者の皆様、お忙しい中ご参加いただき、運動会を盛り上げていただき誠にありがとうございました。
How did we start the day? Of course, it was by stretching our bodies and warming up for the upcoming activities.
先ずはみんなで準備運動をしました。少し恥ずかしそうなお友達もいましたが、お父さん、お母さんと一緒でみんな笑顔が溢れていましたね。
For our first activity, we used the pull-up bar. The goal was to use their strength, and hang there for 10 seconds. We all counted along while they did their best to hang from the bar. I was very impressed by everyone’s ability to so easily hang there the whole time. And even though some of our students got a little shy, they still did their best! Good job everyone!
1種目は、鉄棒披露！
鉄棒に10秒間摑まることができるかな！？
練習時は、１０秒いかないお友達もいましたが、練習を重ねていくうちに１０秒摑まっていることが出来る様になりました。お母さん、お父さんを目の前に緊張してる様子もみられましたが、頑張って！の声援に緊張も和らいだ様で笑顔に変わりしっかり披露することができました。みんなとってもよくできました。
Next, we sat up our obstacle course. The obstacle course required both parent and child to work together to complete it.
The obstacle course consisted of the following:
• Jump across some hoops on the floor
• Balance across the stepping stones
• Parents and children pick up and hold a hula hoop together
• Walk across the balance beam
• Walk between the bottles on the floor
• Kids crawl through the tunnel to the finish line
It was great seeing everyone’s energy and cooperation!
続いては親子で障害物競走です！
お子様が先頭に立ち小さなフープをジャンプ又はケンパで通過し、バランスストーンを落ちない様に渡り終えたら、フラフープを受け取り２人で中に入り平均台を渡り、カラフルなボトルをクネクネと避けながら歩き、そしてみんなが大好きなトンネルを潜り抜け最後はお母さん、お父さんと一緒にゴール！お母さん、お父さんがちゃんと後ろからついてきてるか確認してるお友達もいました。みんな息がピッタリ！みんな、あっという間にゴールしちゃいました。
For our last activity, we walked around the gym while singing “Wheels on the bus”
最後の種目は、歌、ダンスの披露です！
みんなが大好きな”Wheels on the bus”はクラスでも沢山歌い、踊っています。今回は、お母さん、お父さんにも参加して頂き体育館をめいっぱい使いみんなで元気いっぱい踊りました。
We ended the day by handing out a well-earned medal to all the hard-working kids!
It was so nice seeing everyone’s big smile as they ran up to get their medal!
After the medal ceremony, we sang our goodbye song before leaving.
そして最後は、みんなに特別なメダルを渡し、みんなでgoodbye の歌を歌い運動会は無事終了しました。貰ったメダルを嬉しそうにお父さん、お母さんにみせていました。
短い時間ではありましたが、とても楽しい運動会となりました。ご参加いただきありがとうございました。
