Hello Aurora and Shooting Star families!
We are back for another regular-sized week after a short week last week!
また通常通りの週５日の登園の１週間でしたね！📚✎
We started the week with a fun gym lesson!
早速ですが、ジムのレッスンがありました。
After taking the bus and washing our hands with alcohol, we said hello to our teacher and stretched our bodies.
いつものルーティン、手の消毒をして大きな声で「おはようございます！」の挨拶をしてストレッチです。
We took turns stretching our upper and lower bodies so that we didn’t get hurt during the lesson.
ケガをしないように今回もしっかりと最初にストレッチをしました。
Our first activity was jumping across the mat at the Sports Club. We raised our hands above our head, and jumped with our legs together.
最初のアクティビティは両手を上に挙げながら、足を閉じたままマットの上をジャンプをしました。
After that we alternated between closed and open legs while we jumped.
その次に ジャンプをしたまま 挙げていた手と閉じていた足を同時に開き、そして同時に閉じての動きをマットの上でしました。
Next we went onto our backs and rolled across the mat. We raised our hands above our heads, kept our legs straight, and rolled straight across.
次にマットの上であおむけになり、手と足をピンっ！と伸ばした状態でそのままゴロゴロと転がりました。足を曲げてしまうとマットから落ちてしまうので、これがなかなか大変でした！！！💦
Next we performed forward rolls. We tucked our heads into our bodies and rolled forward, quickly standing up after we finished.
そして前転です！手を前についておヘソをみてクルリン！！！そして立ち上がるっておしまいのTポーズです。☆彡
Finally we performed backward rolls. This was the opposite of a forward roll, where we fell backwards and pushed off the mat to stand back up after the roll.
最後に後転です。前転とは逆で後ろを向いてクルリン！！そして最後にマットを力強く蹴って立ち上がります。後転は少しチャレンジなアクティティですが、みなさんリクエストをするくらい好きなんですね💛💖
Finally we said goodbye to our teacher, and took the bus back to school.
時間になり、インストラクターへ挨拶をしてバスでスクールへ戻りました。🚌
Everyone did a great job, and had fun moving their bodies.
体を動かすと、とっても楽しいですよね☆(^o^)丿
We also had the chance to play outside on our playground a number of times this week!
園庭でも沢山遊ぶことが出来た１週間でした。
We had some nice sunny weather, even though the season has changed to Autumn!
暦の上では秋ですが、夏のようなポカポカした日に恵まれました。☀
Students had fun playing ball, chasing their friends.
みなさんボールやおままごと、そして追いかけっこ等、沢山体を動かして遊びましたね🥎
The older students are continuing to set great examples for our younger students by demonstrating great ways to play.
ShootingStarのお友達は、Auroraをリードし、正しい遊び方を教えてくれます☺

For our UOI lessons this week, we performed our final assessment for Unit 2.
UOIのレッスンは最終まとめをしました。
Our Unit 2 central idea was that “We share the world with animals”.
Unit２の探究内容は”We share the world with animals”です。
In order to assess this, the classes performed a matching game.
マッチングゲームをして、理解度を測りました。
Aurora class had to paste animals into the correct category of 2 categories – animals that live on a farm, and animals that do not live on the farm. Examples included frogs, lions, cows and sheep.
Auroraはワークシートで家畜かそうでない動物を選別するアクティビティをしました。(蛇、ライオン、牛、羊など)
Shooting Star had to paste food products onto the animal or plant they came from. Examples included honey, bread and milk.
ShootingStarは少し難易度が高く、はちみつ、パン、ミルクなどの食品はどの動物から得ているかのワークシートをしました。
We have therefore finished our Unit 2 topic, and preparation continues for our next Unit, which will be Unit 3.
これで、Unit２が終わりになります。大好きな動物にかかわるUnitそして見学もあり楽しんでいただけたでしょうか。
